    I'm a frequent user of BG80 & Exbolt 65.

My rackets are strung around around 26-28 pounds (26 pounds at the moment).

I feel like the two strings that I use at the moment are a bit too stiff for me. I was doing some searching and I am intrigued between Gosen's Ryzonic 65 and 66 Ultimax.

Was just wondering a comparison between the strings I currently use vs the ones I am interested in. As of this moment, I am more leaning towards 66 Ultimax as I have tried it before and believe it fits into my criteria.

I am looking for a softer repulsive string that has a crispy sound when hitting off of the stringbed. If you have any other recommendations feel free to message here.

Sounds like you should also have a look at Li-Ning No.1 or N65. With No.1 having a tad softer hitting feel. 66UM clearly also would be a candidate, but be aware of its very limited durability.

In the end it comes down to personal preference, so you'll need to test all the candidates for yourself to make a decision.

If you have not tried Aerobite and Aerobite boost I would give the a try.

My doubles partner actually bought a reel of N65, so I can ask him to restring my rackets with it to give it a go.

Also, one of the current rackets I just bought secondhand was freshly strung with Li-Ning N65 @ 26lbs recently. Honestly felt decent. I'll try to use it more often to understand the feel and whether it fits my criteria. It is at the tension that I usually play at as well!

I was supposed to try No.1 back then when I had my TC70, but the string broke when my stringer strung the mains... but didn't No.1 discontinue and replaced w/ N65? Not too familiar with Li-Ning....

I actually did try Aerobite but I felt its only good on Arcsaber 11 Pro. For other rackets I have tried and used currently atm, I felt that it came way too soft and didn't have that ping/crispy sound I was looking for.

Surprisingly got asked to trade my Aeronaut 9000i for a Ryuga 2 Pro that is strung w/ 66U at 29lbs, though a bit high than my regular tension I'll take my time with it. Just to see how 66U is at high tension.

as of today, both strings are still in the catalogue and appear to remain in production in parallel. Just a wild guess - No.1 has become such a popular string over the years, they would simply shoot themselves in the foot by terminating it. Personally, I think that N65 would be a great replacement, but I also have clients who have tested both and clearly still prefer No.1.

If you can get your hands on N63, then you might want to check that one out too. Hitting sound is mindblowing and it still has great control for such a thin and "bouncy" string.

Thanks for the recommendations you two, this is what I found for myself.

When I was using the Ryuga 2 Pro (strung w/ BG66U at 29lbs) it was a bit difficult for me to adapt to it at first, since the tension was higher than my usual. But the ping sounded so nice and hitting of the stringbed was amazing. I ended up snapping the strings two hours later, lol. But it wasn't at my usual tension. It was a lot easier to use than Exbolt 65 & BG80 for sure, as for high tension comparison... I genuinely don't know.

As for my Ogkils Water Breathing (Arc11 Pro clone, strung w/ N65 at 26lbs) it felt good. A lot easier to use than Exbolt 65 and BG80 in my opinion. The repulsion was nice but for some reason hitting it sometimes felt like Exbolt 65.

I'll restring one of my rackets with BG66 Ultimax at my preferred tension to really see how it feels at my tension.
I've been using my Ogkils often so I'll take my time hitting w/ N65 each session. Will go this Friday.
