    Do a search for microlegend...

BG65 is more durable than ML and ML-XL. But ML and ML-XL perform far better. If you want something comparable in durability but better performance, go with MicroPower.

You'll be hard pressed to find a 0.70mm string that has better durability than BG65.

There's no such thing as the best string, everyone is different. For instance, I don't prefer ML because it's too powerful (harder to control), feeling is weird (you either love it or hate it) and a bit slippery.

I recommend you try Ashaway Micro Power. It has comparable durability and better performance than BG65. I use MP and BG80.

I agree, Ashway MicroPower is great, so is Yonex BG65-Ti,.....but Yonex Nanogy 95 is SUPER! If you have the budget and can afford it. I definitely recommend it. Rich-man's string......:D

but remember, guys, I notice proace is based in Singapore. Over here the version of MicroPower is supposedly 0.66mm (see the thread I started few weeks ago), not 0.70mm.

MicroPower in the U.S. is 0.70mm. The XL version is 0.73mm.

    0.73??
that's the type of strings they use for fishing nets, no?
yeah, i agree that if BG65 breaks that often, then it'd be hard to find a more durable string that provides any sorta feel.
1 month ain't that bad though, considering how cheap stringing is in singapore.

i see, hmmmm, well, you could try a lower tension i guess, maybe 24lbs or something.
maybe you should examine why your strings break so often:
    mishits?
    broken grommets?
strange racquet shapes? (my prince Y frames seem to have their strings broken much more often than my yonex ones)
    poor quality stringers?

Even though microlegend XL is not as durable as bg 65, it is STILL durable for someone who plays 2 hours twice a week, and maybe an hour or two on spare time during weekends??

Oh, absolutely. ML-XL is an excellent performing string with good durability. It should be very durable for you.

If that's the case, then durability is all relative. I break about 4 strings a month (0.68mm to 0.70mm), more if I play harder or use thinner string. So any string that lasts more than 1 week for me, I think is durable. :p

Dan may have to start using Tennis Strings if he keeps breaking strings.
Dan, save some strings for the rest of the world....:D
