Yes we do :). We need more good players to visit VRC!

Speaking of which, tonight there was a former Chinese National Team member there. Someone mentioned he's about 38 years old now and his highest ranking was 2/3 in the world. I didn't catch his name though... was too busy studying his game. Man he was smooth :D.

Apparently last month I missed Kevin Han from the US dropping by to play :(.

In Reality, the champion trophy is about 3 times the size of the runner-up one.
I think I will get the group pix soon and then I will upload it.

    Hey Viver,

I have just pm'ed Dave and ask if he wants to drop-in with me at RBC tomorrow night. If the crowd is too much, we'll probably move on over to C1 instead. Hope to get some games in with you and SmashingBird:).

Yep, I'll go ... cappy bring some chairs in case we need to sit out if member attendance exceeds 22 ... that drop-in rule bites, especially for $7 fee.

Oh, and bring your CAB-22 hehehehhehehehe ... I need to sharpen my kills BWAHAHAHAHAHAA ...

I'm helping cappy adapt to his Cab22 faster ... by negative reinforcement. It's a quicker (albeit disheartening) method of mastering stroke execution.

Dave, there are tons of chairs there, so don't worry about that. And if you play less than 3 or 4 games, you get a few dollars back so you won't be paying the full fee. RBC members, Correct me on this if I m wrong.

It's not about the money that much ... but the uncertainty while waiting for some members to leave, to vacate a spot. In some cases, the drop-ins would be "cold" from inactivity ...

No biggie ... I come to RBC knowing all the implications. :D

    Hey Dave,

A bit off topic but anyway, how are the shoes holding up? :) I've been wearing my Typhoons for the past month. Took a bit to break them in, during which I thought the 5000V was more comfortable, but now I really love them. They definately suit my feet better than the 5000V. I'm thinking of getting another pair when they go on end-of-season sale. My knee has been healing up a bit more this past month so I'm able to actually jump about, and generally move faster about the court now. With all the extra dynamic movement, I need more cushioning than ever, and it's totally awesome. I feel almost no impact shock at all.

Umm... to get back on topic, if you and Cappy want to drop into VRC sometime, just PM me and I'll make sure you two can get signed in.
