Anyone know what kind of new high end racket will release in 2009??? I am looking for a 2u RSL racket, using X2 blue now( quite a good racket, smash power is unforgivable with correct and fast swing)...

    hahaha.
i don't know about my form or anything, but I just started out in badminton months ago, from completely having no sport at all...

I'm a female, currently 19 years old, 5"6 in height and 49kg. I have no problems in x2 blue(strung with 25lbs Yonex BG65Ti). It feels perfect, and it feels like the strongest racket I've held so far (since I used to borrow rackets from friends before buying my own racket - x2 blue). Very easy to control and quite powerful. Though I still have much to improve, and for sure, a fewer months from the I can be able to play with the racket better.

I was also able to try out a new Diamond X2 FP just today, strung at 28lbs. I feel the racket too light, and no strength at all. My back balls seem to be only at half court, maybe due to the power loss with the weight of the racket, and the high tension getting rid of the trampoline effect. waaaaaaaa

I have both X2 AP and AT700, prefer the AT700 as the head heaviness means that it is easier to generate power.

who cares about durability... as long as you don't clash rackets, or string your racket at crazy 28+ lbs, leave it out in the sun... ur racket should last you a lifetime =D

I use to use the 2nd Gen Ti-10 along with AT-900P. I am buying the X2 Blue tomorrow as a spare racket. Hope it turns out well for me. Currently I only have the Woven 7i so I hope these two rackets aren't too far off from each other.

They know I'm injured so they won't release it until I heal :p hahaha... but yeah... maybe it is because of the economy?

Ya, I'm pretty sure it was on the www.rsl-1928.com that I saw a banner announcing the soon coming of the X3, but no info of specs :(.

I just bought a Diamond X2 Blue a couple of days ago and had a chance to give it a try today. I must say I quite like it. I had a chance to try out the X2 AP, the SP, and the Gold version, but this one suited me best. I was upgrading from a beginner's racket with a tempered steel shaft, so anything feels better than what I had. I'm learning to adjust my playing style a bit so work with this racket. I find is fairly demanding and doesn't let me relax my shots too much. I have to focus on getting a good snap of the rist. Once I got it though I could pack a pretty powerful smash :)

I'm new to posting here, but I read this entire form from page 1 through 73 and used all the info to aid in my decision of which racket to purchase.

I have a good shop in JB for sharing. The racket price and they re-string service is excellent. I do try a re-string my racket in Singapore HG SP 24lbs, compare with i restring 24 lbs in there it is totally diference like 21lbs vs 24lbs. They do sell all the racket included RSL, I just bought one X2 gold but still didnt got time to test it out. This Sat I'll go to this shop again. Hope can know more abt x2 gold news in this thread.
