hello. i went to royal sporting house at bukit panjang plaza recently and i saw a new yonex racket model. the model is yonex mctuff or nctuff. i cant remember it clearly. given the fact that royal sporting house gets their goods from sunrise directly i don't think that it is fake. however, i have never heard of this model before. it is selling at $149 if im not wrong. yea. anyone heard of this model before?

just another mid range model i think, maybe close to the AT500 kind of category. but the 2 designs are similar to the upcoming AT900s

Sunrise in china known as a taiwan company who distributes taiwanese yonex, the affordable yonex. But i guess they distribute fakes, known by the cheap price n different looks from the original 1. I believe there's big difference in quality as well..

I can assure you the NCTuffs are genuine. They look interesting enough, with Delta Power Frame, cross-sectioned like the Yonex Aero-Box shape, and I noticed the frame seems to be thicker than other Yonexes, maybe will take tension better? Other than that, I believe the NCTuff 9 to be stiffer than the NCTuff 8.

I think Smichz is overstating the point. The racquets are genuine.

However, one cannot rule out the possibility that Sunrise is doing for racquets what it does for shoes.... i.e., it licences the Yonex name and gets some OEM manufacturer (or maybe it has its own factory) to produce the racquets for the lower end market within the Sunrise distribution area. Mind you, legally speaking, the racquets are still genuine Yonex.

I seriously doubt about your previous post.

I won't think a fake seller/distributor with a "sunrise" logo on the office door, to be the same as the genuine sunrise distributor.

It's like, I can claim my own "basement build" company is "Yonex" or "Nike", and having logos printed all over the place. But do you really think I can really represent Yonex or Nike?
