Hi Hi all, I live in Montreal (Canada). I play in almost every place in Montreal. If your from Canada tell me where you guys play.

Canada eh?

I'm studying in Waterloo, Ontario and play badminton at the University of Waterloo Badminton Club.

My hometown is Richmond, BC and plan on playing here:
ClearOne badminton

How's the baddy action in Montreal??

Hey I'm from Kingston, ON and play @ Queen's here. I also am in Toronto somewhat often and more recently I've been playing @ George Brown College and Mandarin Club there. Also I'm from Victoria, BC where I play @ Cordova Bay Badminton Club quite often!

Question for Brave_Turtle: Are there any Montreal tournaments happening before Christmas? If so please let me know!

Hi;
I'm from the beautifull city of Kelowna, BC. I play at the Kelowna Badminton Club.
We have 5 courts and can play almost 24 hrs a day/ 7 days a week.
Our membership fee for the year is $115. We are really lucky to have such a great place to play. Drop ins are $4 and are welcomed.
Have a nice day.

do those costs include shuttles or not?

No, $115 does not include shuttles. We typically use Victor, feathered. I usually go thru 1 to 2 birds each time I play.
It sure would be sweet if the shuttles were supplied.
Cheers!

Oh man!!! Annual membership fees of $115?! How I wish VRC / ClearOne is that cheap!

BTW, I'm a Canuck from Vancouver. Because of work, I only get to play once or twice a week at ClearOne nowadays...

<sigh> How I wish I was still playing at UWBC four times a week... :(

Hi!

I'm from Montreal too. I play here and there. =) At some point, I played at Claude Robillard. I did Centre Charbonneau, Olympic Stadium, UDM, Mcgill, UQAM, Riverview Club, Ahuntsic... Sometimes YMCA. Now, i play at a school in St-Leonard and ETS. I move around a lot :D

Hi Frendies!!

Is the school in St-Leonard École secondaire St-Exupéry?

If so I use to play alot there when I was doing high school tournament. You stopped coming to centre claude robillard?

The place I play the most is at centre claude robillard, Vanier college and Ahunstic.

Centre Claude Robillard is full of nice people but they are too old compared to me. Ahunstic college is probably one of the best place to play but 4$ every friday is a bit too much for me so I spend every friday at Vanier college.

Tell me some news!

Claude Robillard with too many old people lol?? It's usually full of asian teens from
5-7...perhaps you play during the evening after 7 when all the kids gotta leave? I would never go to Ahuntsic because my friend tells me the players there are really good.
BTW, how many courts are there at Vanier?

I haven't notice what school it is since I get a lift =P
As for Ahuntsic, haven't gone there for quite awhile now.. lots of good players there... maybe too crowded... and sometimes elitism. =/ However, I think courts are open earlier on Friday and they are open on weekends too now.
4$ is not expensive considering how much they charge at other places. UQAM day pass is 8$, UDM is hmm 10 or 12$ ? McGill 6 or 8$?

I've never played in Vanier.

Compadre of both K2' and Yonexfanatic... I play at W. P. Wagner highschool (IBC) on Mondays and Wednesdays as well as U of A badminton club on Fridays. Regular drop-in at GMCC (downtown) on Thursdays and Concordia on Sundays. Used to play at U of A Faculty Badminton Club until I got lured to International Badminton Club (IBC)... a more competitive club that plays on the same day.

I will be moving down to Burnaby at the end of the year. So, Vancouver folks... please be merciful on this poor soul:D.
