Semi final result

Cheng/Wang is just a complete disaster this game. losing 13/1 now. too defensive, Choong/Lee can completely read their game. obviously lacking in strategy planning before the game. also very nervous. missing the easy net kill.

1st game is over 15/1

Yap Kim Hock was giving advice to Choong/Lee in Cantonese!

keep trying. there is a limit on number of clients.
 
Cheng/Wang has no fighting spirit today. probably too tired from yesterday? it is as if they have already conceded the match.

Haha... looks like Li Yongbo will have to eat back his cocky remarks earlier.
What Kwun mentioned earlier is true, Li YB shouldn't placed such a high pressure on these youngsters!

After the seconde MD match, followed by GADE vs WONG Choong Hann
 
I'm currently watching the doubles match now...(Thanks a lot Kwun!) Unfortunately..its lagging now..

13/7 to Choong/Lee at the moment
 
well, let's hope the Chinese take this back home and refine their skills accordingly. i think both pairs is missing some fighting spirit. Cai/Fu at the last game, Wang/Cheng throughout. Wang/Cheng is noticably weaker on both offense and defense.

connection is very bad here. too. i am getting a frame every 5 seconds or so. but audio is still ok. better than nothing i guess.

14-10 now. service on MAS side.
 
Btw, I think Cheng/Wang can be considered a scratch pair.
Chinese no 3 pair should be Chen Qiqiu/Cheng Rui, currently world no 18.
Wonder why Chen Qiqiu did not played in this 6* tournament.:confused:
 
Chen Qiqiu is now focusing only on mixed doubles. the reason i believe is age. same for Zhang Jun.
 
Good chance for Choong/Lee to bag their first title this year, since Jonas/Lars were dragged to 3 sets earlier.:)

My connection is really bad too...but my audio's fine..so..oh well!

Choong/Lee defintely have a much easier match. they were not even playing seriously.

however, Jonas/Lars are still very sharp and fast. they had a tough opponent Cai/Fu who played a really tough match.

Jonas needs to work on his service though. he had a lot of trouble all day with it.

and yes, Li Yongbo need to shut his big mouth now. :)
