Post your Yonex serial numbers here!

if you have a yonex racket with the new serial number scheme, post it here!

also post the purchase date so we know how to correlate release date and serial number...

there should be two sets of numbers, one on the shaft and one on the cone with country code like the photo below..

mine & friend's:

cab20:
3897217 030723SP

3897229 030723SP
3974739 270823SP
3974819 270823SP

(purchased May 2001)

Ti10:

MP100:
2886259 160113CP

(purchased 2000/2001 ??)

MP77:
2904226 290112US

let's keep all discussion away for now before we gather enough response.

Kwun,

I have a Ti10 with similar serial number on the cone as your MP100.

Purchased Nov 2002

Ti10

2885601 160113CP.

Interesting.....

MP100:
3837829 280525BX (July 2002)
3154679 030713BX (August 2002)

Ti-6:
2618489 060602BX (2000 or 2001)
2802922 301003BX (2000 or 2001)

Ti-5:
2619412 060602BX (2000)

Cone numbers of Ti-5 equal to Ti-6 !

that's what i am trying to find out. can you tell us the purchase date of your rackets?

hehe, Yonex must be very impressed if they know that there is actually a group of fanatics who is trying to figured out the meaning of the serial number which they might only used to keep track of their record. :D

let's solve the puzzle!

I will post mine when I get home. :)

very nice observation.

but is it DDMMxx or xxMMDD?

it looks like DDMMxx as the xx is often repeated. (notice ayl's xxxx22JP and jcb's xxxx22JP)

intriguing.. i think we still need more data points. help us out guys... Pete? Ricky? you guys have tons of rackets... :)
