    racket model: Yonex Armortec 700
    shaft serial: 5432914
    cone code : 110356TH
source : eBay seller who claimed his friend bought it for him at a Thailand shop.

The racquet seems authentic to me while I can feel the laser engraved serial. Seller also bought few racquets from sumai03 and tum98 at eBay.

    Fake?

Hi guys, recently purchased a racket from ebay, I know this is risky but I got a great deal..... know I am wondering why....

---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----
    racket model: Yonex NanoSpeed 7000

    shaft serial: 7712223
    cone code : 211211sp
source : Ebay, (new to ebay, dont know how to find seller ID)
---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----

I would be utterly devastated if this is a fake :(

also, it has a hologram on the cone, and there is nothing obviously fake about it,

a great deal like that usually does not end up being all that great in the end. again, there is no quality control for fakes so it is hard to say if it will break that easily. i suggest you not to play with it as it is a fake and who knows what may happen.

I have checked in the information of your Yonex
    1) Nanospeed 9000 X Serial:5973792; Date Code:140262CH (date=14 Feb 2006)
    2) MusclePower 99 Serial:5953709; Date Code:060263CH (date=06 Feb 2006)
    3) MusclePower 100 Serial:3078421; Date Code:100513DK (date=10 May 2001)
to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, their serial nos. and date codes are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the rackets carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain their total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

I have checked in the information of your Yonex MP 100 Serial:6311505; Date Code:240767TH (date=24 Jul 2006) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial nos. and date codes are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

You need to doublecheck the date code of MusclePower 99 highlighted in red whether it is 01 or 07 and that of Nanospeed 9000X highlighted in blue whether it is 09 or 08.

I have checked in the information of your Yonex
    1)Muscle Power 23 Serial:8009721; Date Code:250754HK (date=25 Jul 2005)
    2)Muscle Power 28(?) Serial:8637945; Date Code:040764HK (date=04 Jul 2006)
to my information list of Yonex rackets Developed by Yonex Japan (on the shaft) and made in Taiwan (on the cap), their serial nos. and date codes are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the rackets carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain their total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.
