Lee Hyun-il is more dangerous than Park Sung-hwan and surely he will be trump card for KOR Men's team in upcoming Guangzhou AG.

if i'm not mistaken, it was semifinal olympic games 2008, where LCW managed to beat LHI (CMIIW)

Simon got concentration lapse... and maybe tired in the rubber too...
25 years old, not much time already...
And BTW, don't even someone dare to compare Taufik and Hayom. They obviously don't know that Taufik is a VERY special case and it will be very hard for ANY country to find another Taufik.

From what I watched in the past 2 days, Tantowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir will be a very prospective pairing for INA in preparation for the Olympics 2012. Tantowi has great smashes and he dares to take the initiative to the opponents. In today's match, Fran Kurniawan/Pia Bernadet Zebadiah were simply outplayed by their counterparts!

Liliyana Natsir also played extremely well in the past 2 days, especially today when she prevented Pia from executing her trademark "difficult" balls (which had troubled Songphon/Kunchala so many times yesterday night). After the match, Liliyana commented to Yanti Kusmiaty (the XD coach) that she was lucky to have restricted Pia today...that's simply because they know each other's style's too well!

Fran also looked frustrated as he and Pia were trailing by many pts for both-sets! Nevertheless, these 2 pairs should be INA's hope in the Olympics and quite a preview match for INA fans today! Fran/Pia were awesome too in yesterday's victory in which they totally restricted Songphon from executing smashes and completely frustrated the THA pair with Pia's "weird" placement balls.

Adriyanti Firdasari also looked composed and very confident of herself, especially in today's match which was over in relatively short-time for WS standard. Can she beat Li Xuerui tomorrow? I will give her a 40% chance.

Meiliana Jauhari/Greysia Polii's match turned out to be the most tense, especially at the end of sets 2 and 3. We were all cheering for every point won by the INA pair, despite trailing 15-17 in the second-set and also 16-18 in the third.

Lee Hyun Il played against BP as if he had never taken the 2-year hiatus from August 2008 when he played his last individual singles match against Chen Jin of China for the Olympics bronze medal title.
His court movements were just too good and BP was no match for him.
I understand he wants to be drafted in as a member of the Korean squad for the 2010 Asian Games and he is just too good to be ignored.
It is good to see the return of one of the coolest badminton players and this will add depth to the tournaments.

MAS will depend on LCW until he retires. Then we will see who can fill in the gap.
Hope Zuldadli Zukliffi can do it. He shown a few signs of talent but he is not training in the national team.
