It is in this forum http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1206726 Currently, it is RSL, Sealion and RCL leading. I guess Protech not leading because it is mainly popular in KL but not other states. RSL is popular in many places, so as Sealion. RCL popular in Northern States and East Coast.
RCL... Protech... RSL... Sealion... Fleet... these are among the top selling brands in Msia i guess... currently using and selling RCL models... found that RCL Titanium and No.1 very satisfying...
Apacs aeroflight-700 is not bad. quite consistent. I think the price is abt RM51-52. No doubt yonex is very good, but the price will kill the consumers
No doubt there are many other brands out there which have good shuttlecocks, but we are talking about most popular shuttlecock brand in Malaysia here. I think more people know Apacs for their rackets but not shuttlecocks.I think Apacs should be classified as the most popular racket brand in Malaysia.
my personal favorite is RSL classic tourney.. but lately i feel the quality has dropped a bit... (maybe i bought the tube yg dah masuk angin kot.. hahaha).. i've temporarily switched to protech masterpiece..
In northern M'sia, i think RCL is very popular. Another brand is Yang yang but i find it too fast (77).
RSL, Protech and Sealion is still the favorite choice in the central region... RCL seems not a favorite in central region but very popular in Northern [As i can't find any RSL in Penang previously when i station there], i have tried some RCL but the speed seems faster than others brand... I personally used RSL Tourney No.1 cost RM48 play up to 1pc per 21points game and Protech Royale cost RM55 that bout 0.5~1pcs per 21points game...
there is this new RCL Gold No.1 which is bout the same price as RSL Tourney No.1... heard its selling pretty fast in KL... might as well giv it a try and gives some feedback? if 77 is too fast maybe u can request for 76 instead... which shop you usually get ur shuttles?
I am in Klang but usually my partner will buy the shuttlecock... May be i will ask him to get the RCL Gold No.1 to have a try 1st...
