Hmm, at least some Singapore officers had some common sense here. All sports were being play like usual in all over the world. Like tennis, soccers etc with top atheletes still competing despite the swine flu even in America and Europe who had to be more worried about this swine flu.

So it will be total laughable if Singapore badminton team didnot competing in Sudirman Cup considering all the top teams like China, Indonesia, Korea etc still competing in this Cup and Singapore dont.

    But all ends well.

You may be right as Singapore's health authority is now downgrading the flu alert progressively to 'yellow', which doesn't require even temperature monitoring, I believe.

But I hope nothing untoward happens during the Sudirman Cup competition otherwise it will not be a laughable matter. It could be worse than mere food poisoning!
