SMM vs CCC: Friendly Match on Friday 5-Sep-2008

Greetings,

SMM Badminton has requested to play a Friendly Match with CCC.

After making several posts in different threads, and getting quite a bit disorientated about this Friendly Match, should we start a unique thread for it? :confused::confused::confused:

Details are:
When: Friday 5-Sep-2008, from 7:30pm to 10:30pm
Where: Waverley, Court No.4
Who: SMM vs CCC
Format: 4 Players Format (2 Men, 2 Ladies, Doubles Games only)
Event 1: M1+M2
Event 2: L1+L2
Event 3: M1+L1
Event 4: M2+L2
Event 5: M1+L2
Event 6: M2+L1
(Please find the Match Format in the attachments below)

SMM Team:
(1) Indo (Captain)
(2) Nhan
(3) Wynne
(4) Aileen

Please note: SMM has requested to play against our stronger players.
We will see... later, they might regret asking for this arrangement. :D:D:D

Below is a suggested list of some of our slightly stronger players that could participate, namely;
CCC Team:
Men
(1) Cliff-S
(2) Jacob-L
(3) Oscar-L
(4) Siva-S
Ladies
(1) Ann-L
(2) Elaine-D
(3) Kylie-L
(4) Soh Ai-C

You will notice that the names suggested above are those who haven't played in any of our Friendly Matches held at Waverley before.

We are now asking for interested CCC participants.
We will also require a captain for this match.

Fees for our Friendly Match are the same as for our Social Games

Already, we have some questions asked.

Our Friendly Matches are part of our Social Games, except that they have some type of fixed format/schedule (as to who plays who and when). In fact, after each of our Friendly Matches, participants are encouraged to mix with all our other CCC players to play Social Games.

We do not charge extra fees for our Friendly Matches ... provided that our shuttlecocks usage is under control. :cool::cool::cool:

Remember: CCC is for the enjoyment of playing Badminton. :):):)

Welcoming Wynne and Indo to our Friday CCC Social Games !!!

Aileen emailed saying that she could not make it tonight, Friday 5-Sep-2008, for our CCC Social Games.

So coming from SMM will only be Wynne and Indo. Please make them feel welcomed.

As usual, after our session is over, we will be going for supper at the Ocean King Restaurant.
