    Hey guys,

Does anyone have any experience with an item like this?
    https://www.amazon.com/CDKZK-Badminton-Equipment-Powerbase-Self-Study/dp/B07V4F9TPL
It's essentially just a shuttle tied to an long rod that bounces back towards you when you hit it

I don't have a flat wall at home and want to use it mainly to practice driving and such. Just wanna make sure it ain't a complete waste of time and money though

    Thanks :)

Lol just use a string or light ribbon and tie to a high point --- you can literally lob or smash with all of your might - the shuttle returns so beautifully - a constant, consistent form on technique training

I think what the wooden man post is to kung-fu, this is to badminton

it's called a shuttle point (or point of contact/poc) - and one can even use multiple of a badminton court, at different points (for lobs, drops, drives, smashes) and use a sequence/ combination of movements to coordinate with technical applications.

A thin, light ribbon gets a slow, smooth return that gives one enough time to prepare technique and then execute with full power and control - this works well for the lob technique

You have to thread it through the shuttle and knot at the centre to get the smoothest return
