Something between NF800 and AX100ZZ

Nanoray Z Speed should do you well. Slim shaft, similar head size, balance is right in between the NF800 and AX100, and incredibly fast and maneuverable. Don't worry about whether it's the orange or yellow version, both play great.
yeah, true

PS: Nice profile picture, love it

I have had the similar experience with both Nanoflare 800 4u and Astrox 100zz 4u. Wanted something in between. Recently, switched to Victor Auraspeed 100x 4u, I really liked the overall feel and the power I could generate from this racket. Also, the drops are pretty amazing, something I really lacks with Nanoflare 800. It's really worth a try.

but switching from yonex to victor wont be easy, I tried my frnd's thruster F claw and instantly the frame felt more compact.

I've decided to go for Ax88d pro 4u5 anyways

I wouldn't recommend the Arcsaber 11 Pro. It's an amazing racquet (one of my favorites right now) but it's nowhere near as repulsive as the AX100ZZ and especially the NF800.

Hi everybody,

I used to play a Nanoflare 800 which I like a lot except for a little lack of power.
So I thought an Astrox 100ZZ was a good choice. But even after playing it for quite some time, I still miss the controllability which my Nanoflare offers.

Is there any racket in between those two which might suit my needs?

thx!

I can relate to this. My favourite racquet is NanoRay 800 and I wish it was just a tiny bit stronger with smashes.

At the end of the day, it's more down to my inadequate technique, or lack of focus during games. I did try an Astrox 100zz and it's still in my bags as a singles racquet. But it's more demanding on my shoulder and harder to manoeuvre during quick drive situations when compared to the nanoray.

Is it time to bring back this comparison? I heard 100zz VA is slightly softer and more head balanced... like NF800 but slightly head heavier?

How does Bladex 800 Speed compare to Bladex 800 Power? Thanks

I don't have the Bladex 800 Power to compare it against directly, but one thing I noticed immediately is that while the shaft is stiff, the frame itself has some amount of whip. This seems to contribute significantly to the racquet's repulsion. Once a certain swing-speed threshold is reached, the frame appears to deform slightly on impact and then snap back almost instantly, producing a very nice response. It's the same sensation I experienced with the Nanoflare series. The frame is clearly doing some work during the stroke rather than remaining completely rigid. This also explains why backhand shots feel so effortless with the 800 speed. I haven't experienced this kind of response with any other racquet, and I suspect the M46X material plays a major role here (the Nanoflares, if I'm not mistaken, use M40X).

The result is a racquet that feels genuinely alive in your hand. You don't get the crisp feel that Yonex racquets are known for, but the Bladex 800 Speed is simply more fun to use than almost any racquet I've played with. The last time I liked a racquet this much were the N7II and N9II.

If I were to speculate based on my research before purchasing and my experience with the 800 Speed so far, the relationship between the 800 Speed and the 800 Power is probably similar to the relationship between the N7II and N9II. If you loved the N7II and N9II, these feel like their faster, more refined successors.
