    Z-Speed with Aerosonic @ 12 kg

I think this racket and string could easily break the 1500 at 14 kg, maybe even at 13.5 kg.

I know right? It's a mental illness I have. Every once in a while I have to test the Z-Speed again. o_O

Trust me, this is par for the course. I think he's on his 4th or 5th one at this point. :)

I get 1400hz from 12kg BGAS on VT70. Very much in line with your number (Zspeed having the smaller head).

    I am doing 10%PS and 11.7 x 12.2 to be exact.

Anybody here with a JS12? Astrox77 and Nanoray750 show decent values, but the JS12 (ZM62Fire) is going crazy.

    StringsterApp:
    1) 11,3kg
    2) 6,7kg (24hours)
    3) 15kg (24hours)
    Other App = 2663hz

The other rackets also work very fast with Stringster. At Jetspeed it takes a very long time for 100%.

Yeah most likely false. 62f is quite thick and even my aerosonics at 34 weren't anywhere close to that.

What other app was used? That 2663 Hz is likely the first overtone, so halve that to get the right reading, which is 1331...which sound right.

CarlTune... CarlTune show correct values (1100-1200) on my other rackets with other strings. Only JS12 + ZM62 does not work right. It was a 10,5/11kg stringjob. Stringster the same...

Had the same case with stringster so I deleted it. Some rackets and set-ups work like a breeze, 5-6 hits to 100%. Others need to get knocked more until the paint fall off the racket.

With carltune you can get ridiculous high results when you don't hit clean. I use my fingers for that.

1331 with ZM62 fire in a JS12...@ childish 10.5/11kg...in which universe? I have a good reason why I don't read here anymore. It turned into a "state the lowest tension and the highest frequency"-competition thread. No real results just a bias in terms "higher at lower tension, the better"

I'll do my best to get this thing down back to reality again...

    JS10, LN1 @13/13 kg, no PS = 1347 Hz
    N9II, LN1 @13/13 kg, no PS = 1313 Hz
    N7II, LN1 @13/13 kg, no PS = 1317 Hz.
    N9II, BG80 @10/10 kg, 10% PS = 1143 Hz

In all fairness Visor just guessed here.

It's a problem with those apps not being able to read the proper frequency... and users simply reporting the faulty readings without wearing their reality hats.

Personally I've found exactly 1400 Hz to be my preferred freq of BGAS in my vt70.

I get to that freq using 12kg. A bit added for the cross, and the lowest PS setting on my Wise.

I've grown addicted to the sound and repulsion from these specs.

NS30 on my US950 (N90 size frame pretty much the same) *Requested tension 33x35. Carltune shows 1348 Hz.

Not the official yonex stringer as I didn't wanna spend 6 hours of travel time on a cheapo racket

I decided that I just had to go back to my main (yonex) stringer despite the time it cost me.

BG80 at a requested 29.5x31.5lbs with his typical weird string tensioning pattern @ 1359hz consistent 8 hours 44 minutes after it was taken out of his machine. Music from the stringbed once again. Each hit with shuttle (in my house as I'm injured) sounds so nice.

6 hrs round trip travel time?!
That must be an excellent stringer! But yeah, once you experience a good stringbed , you get spoiled and would almost sacrifice anything for it.

Nah he doesn't do rackets in one day you have to leave it there and collect it next day. So 3 hours each. Only 1.5 for me this time (did it on the spot) since I may have bribed him with a large banana shake from my favourite place. He also has a huge amounts of rackets daily so definitely not his fault.

For quality if he is 10, most don't approach 4 and I've met no one in or around the city that is above 7.

Just degreased and cleaned the machine, gripper and clamps. Then measured some jobs, which I hadn't done so for some time, but I think it's always good to do a check once in a while:

    BG80 - 10% PS
Nanoray GlanZ: 12 kg (26x27 lbs): 1254 Hz
Nanoray GlanZ: 12 kg (26x27 lbs): 1254 Hz
Nanoray GlanZ: 12 kg (26x27 lbs): 1254 Hz
    Nanoray 800: 12 kg (26x27 lbs): 1248 Hz
    Forza Power 988S: 11,5 kg (25x26 lbs): 1200 Hz

    BG65 - 10% PS
Carbonex 8 clone: 9 kg (approx. 19x20 Lbs): 1020 Hz

Measured around 1-2 hours coming off the machine.

Pretty consistent stringing if I may say so myself... :)
