Brilliant display from TTY neither the hawk eye failure nor the GPS after it, troubled her an inch.
She's on her peak, looks almost unbeatable to me. And My goodness what a shot to play at MP

Is SWH the only player in 10 years other than super trio to be WR1 in MS?

"Thailand Go Go" isn't it the most "innocently sweet" cheering chant of all time :p
Pity SWH and CTC clearly the better match on court but nobody seems interested in it. I wonder what happens to the players when the crowd shouts those rhythmic "anticipation of smash" for players on the adjacent court

CTC started where TTY finished surfing on the wave of the momentum produced.

bodin and nipitphon do not have much creativity in their game, always smashing

Actually that's the only way they can win, Bodin's shot selection and court awareness is minimal, if you watched PBL this year you would know he can win only when he starts madly smashing.
And that worked in g1, but as the game is progressing the Danes are getting better in using their versatility, and are clearly combining well then their opponents.
It was fun till it lasted but I believe Den will take it

and they do...seems like Denmark will now progress to the semis, if only CP plays well in the WD.

Denmark once again shows the depth of strength in their team and the importance of "tiered" team-building-- there will always be times when you need to rely on your 2nd stringers... and when you do, they must be able to deliver!

The younger XD player Christiansen only needs a better partner (on the level of Christina Pedersen) to start winning titles-- and if he can play on until 38 like Fisher-Nielsen, I'm sure they'll find someone for him (Fisher-Nielsen was 30 when he retired from MD to play XD with Pedersen)

Even creativity requires energy & concentration in execution-- by the 3rd game, THA MD cannot or won't play the shots they made in the 1st or 2nd game because "creative" shots are by nature low percentage (but high reward) shots...

Plus the DEN MD are fresh while the THA MD took 3 games (& almost lost) to a rather disorganized TPE MD with the talented Wang Chi-Lin

This was also how Denmark's 3rd stringers Astrup/ Rasmussen defeated Koo Kean Kiat and Tan Boon Heong in the Thomas Cup 2016... by playing tennis with you, when you are trying to play badminton.

So can the newly crowned #1 replicate yesterday's performance? He was great in g2, CTC has to defend his inner demons, if he fails TPE is out

She will I am worried about KRJ, I mean she's unstoppable once she find her rhythm but it was pretty late against India. But I don't have any expectations from Thailand WD, I mean where's Putita??
