Rightly voiced out by abedeng. Lin Dan vs Lee Chong Wei is always a classic. We might even have 2 good quality matches if Koo/Tan show their "good" side.
Well said. That's typical MAS fans for you. I think is time for MAS fans to admit that Indonesia is still a much better team overall. It doesn't matter who they field in WS,WD and XD. The results were likely be the same unless the Indonesian players were having a bad day. Of course, some of the younger MAS players can still improve. But, at the moment, Indonesia is still the better team. I think the fans need to learn from their players and take the defeat gracefully. Just my 2 cents.
Hussshhh...hv a pity on MAS, they won't hv the so-called chance in WS, WD & XD... surely they can't get thru any further
It looks like the KOR pair is now awake and turbo-charged towards the finish line. 15-12, after trailing 8-11.
KOR eventually beat DEN 3-2. DEN's WD pair put up a creditable challenge in the 2nd set. Now, let's see what will be the QF Draw.
The Den at one stage at one stage has the chance tot tie it up. Unfortunately, they cannot hold their nerve and lost in close points 18-21..:crying::crying::crying:
Indonesia had always been a better team overall. Never in my lifetime have I seen a Malaysian team that is better in quality and depth, except in the 1967 Thomas Cup (and that was pretty close). And Indonesia will continue to be better overall because the Malaysian youngsters (especially the women's squad) are primarily kept in storage and their mixed doubles curriculum is not yet up to scratch.
