Maybe it's better for LCW to put himself down a little bit, to the level of PSH. Just keep the game going, don't think too much about winning. It's interesting that it seems even Sairul was thinking about beating LD. He crumbled when that task seemed unreachable in 1st game at 13:15.
There's no rule to credit a player who hits more winners. NSS favours the one who commits a lot less unforced errors. LCW gifted LD in G1 but LD deserved it because he was clearly prepared and came out firing. LCW's performance in G2 is a good sign even if he lost.
I agree. LD is different from the previous "most favorites". ZJH in 92 is old; DJ, TH and LD in 96,00,04 are young prodigies, they were too excited and thought they can crush anyone. LD in 08 is at his best (physically + mentally).
Sounds like you misunderstood me. I ask because I think on paper, LD only has slight advantage; So there must be a reason, either LD played super-well and forced LCW to make many errors, or LCW cannot deal with his winning desire and forced himself to make many errors.
Acutally I think CW is "returning to his old self" now. The new, calm, and confident player emerged in French Open 07 has gone.
I do not think so. It's just they are a team. If the team wins, each member of the team will be happy. BCL is not happy for his loss to LD. But when LD played with other team member, BCL will be offer his help for LD.
No !! Chong wei lost already.....Did he played really bad in the first game ? I didn't watch any of the game.
I'm not sure what would have happened if LCW managed to take the 2nd game since he was playing much better in the 2nd game.
Gosh all those BS about LD's injury, i just wish one day in the very new future he's really really badly injured...
Well. To me this match has some resemblance to LD vs. TH WC05 final. LCW may have played better in 2nd game, but is that enough to take the game from LD? The point is, if you are not calm but your opponent is, it's more likely that you will not be able to seal the game.
