to ctjcad and any other Taufik haters

Please ..please ..please just please leave Taufik alone....

I DON'T CARE EITHER if Taufik cheated his age..SO WHAT...in the end of the day..he is the VERY FIRST MEN Single PLAYER to win both OLYMPIC and WC..that should silence everyone's critics.....

And looking at how his current form in WC, I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING MORE..

at once please be happy for Taufik

I hope Taufik will continue his good run in the final against Chen Jin tomorrow..:)

Oh BTW if TH wins, he will be the first person to win WC twice after 5 years apart. Then it will make me wonder, what was he doing in between??:rolleyes:

Well done to CJ.. TH looked like he ran out of gas but well done to him as the tournament showed flashes of his brilliance.

    .."hello? anyone here?"..*hears crickets*..

But don't let your heart and mind be troubled by Taufik's loss vs. CJ, yes, you know who you are. Afterall, didn't he make this pledge prior to the WC? (and i quote):
“I am not the favourite here. In fact, I will not lose sleep if I do not go far. My goal this year is the Asian Games (in Guangzhou in November). I want to defend my title there,” said Taufik.

Well, there you have it. The hope is still there...

    (continued)
*Taufik winks once again and says "Thank You" to LCW..
**to bh185008, no, i'm no TH hater as you claim...

Thank you is Taufik's way of saying goodbye as his sporting career (as a player) unwinds. I don't see the value of AG exceeding that of WC (but yes, biennial is the way it should be) by any measure . Nonetheless, coming from a Taufik fan, I feel that LD and LCW will be at their peaks come AG time. If only Taufik would do one more AE and bring it home...FINALLY!

All in all, well done Taufik! Keep smiling, keep the goodbyes and (electronic) missives till the very end...

And to all who's faith is strong but needed proof, a WC finals is proof enough at any stage of a career, much more in the winter of their career!

    One more note:
0-14 (and counting?) for TH vs. CHN's top players in the last 3+ yrs, after his loss vs. CJ...I'd say he should be thanking his lucky stars he didn't have to face LD or BCL or CJ before this yr's WC Finals..

In the same line of argument, should all LD fan hate PSH because PSH killed LD's chance of 4th consecutive WC gold?

TH fan here.. not jealous of LD's achievements. Any reason why I should be? LD's a great player (perhaps the best to date). Being a fan doesn't mean one need to talk down or deny the merits of other players. In LD vs TH, TH hardly have a chance. LD's too fast and varies his game plan too well as long as he keeps his nerves. At this point, there are very few players who can unnerve LD.

I enjoyed seeing TH battle it out with LD in Thomas Cup 2010. LD was faster and played better in practically every way, trashed TH in the first set but TH tried to push back in the 2nd set. That's what I enjoy most about TH. Of course, I certainly hope he'd win some tournaments.

There is this lady who goes to every Singapore Open to support everyone who's not from China. She's the extreme but its a sign of more a hater than a fan.

You can say that again. LD and CJ both boasts the best stamina and speed in the circuit and has fantastic stability (discounting the recent PSH-LD matchup). Similarly, CJ is should be thanking his lucky stars that TH has disposed of LCW.

& Finally... congrats to TH for making the WC finals. Great performance all around in particular in the match with LCW. CJ played a fantastic match so no shame there beaten by a super on-form CJ.

ctjcad, i thought you are a neutralist,

not a taufik hater and you don't care if he wins or lost wc

why you still take the initiative to go back and dig all taufik losses h2h with the chinese players?

and you also wanted us to believe taufik should thank his lucky star he didn't face lin dan/bcl or chen jin earlier?

i really don't know what message you are trying to get across:crying:

    hahaha i believe so..

i think the most important thing here happening this few days is

what taufik has achieved that what caught us by surprise:

2 semi final without lin dan and lcw!

quite rare indeed when both of them did participated...
