    GER is known for its tricky double pairs, same like POL.
    Kristof Hopp/Ingo Kindervater won the Russian Open last year, after beating Shuichi Sakamoto/Shintaro Ikeda in the Final.

    Roman Spitko/Michael Fuchs and Michal Logosz/Robert Mateusiak have also beaten Hendra A. Gunawan/Joko Riyadi in a number of occassions in 2006 & 2007.

    Still a tight match between Eriksen/Hansen and Ohtsuka/Masuda, after Eriksen/Hansen just took the second set narrowly 22-20.
