Lu Lan lost. Lin Wang lost. Lady Pi about to lose. Not looking good for senior WS players.

INA is guaranteed one spot in QF, probably the veteran pair of Nova Widianto/Vita Marissa.

I think the combination of Nova/Vita is not as good as Hendra A.G./Vita.

Looking at the ranking of Nova/Vita, assuming that they can get:
3850 for reaching QF at Thailand GPG
2220 for Singapore SS (I don't think they can beat Mateusiak/Zieba)
2660 for INA SSP (I also don't think they can beat Zhang/Zhao)

That will add 8730 pts and their total ranking pts will be 33,390 (10 tourneys), comprising of:
    4 losses at R32
    2 losses at R16
    4 losses at QF

That will barely put them in the top 25. They will need additional 26,000 pts++ to break into the top 8 and maybe qualify for the Olympics by end of April next year. A pretty tall order, unless they start to win some tourneys!

If I recall correctly, AG/Vita rose to top 10 pretty rapidly.

Riichi Takeshita destroying MAS backup players... who is this man? Saw him for the first time in NZ International Challenge, beating Hafiz, Wong Wing Ki and Hu Yun. He won it and disappeared. Now he's back.
