I see.. Google has wrong date, in the middle of the photo. No Thai championships happened this year, I think.

    Thanks for the links.
Usually Google does good work, but it was difficult to find news from Thai nationals. Tournament software brought nothing either. Maybe I am too old..

Take good note of Pitchamon Opatniput. She's only 13, and she was in the semifinals of WS (and took a game off Phittayaporn Chaiwan)! She'll be big.

That tournament site gives only Thai language names. I am lazy to start translation. It will take time before they will send Pitchamon abroad.

Pitchamon has been selected for Thailand's WJC 2021 team. So you'll see her in both the WJC team event and the individual event next year.

    That is nice!
In Finland we have our own superstar, Nella Nyqvist, who is European U15 girl champion from this year. Born 2006.

    Heh, that was U19 championships.
Nella is 14y now. It was hard in her age to maintain mental and physical strength through the days.
Hope she and Pitchamon will have sponsors to tour internationally.
