Looks like you got stale news and have many of us fooled over nothing.

Now will May continue her august form against bosom friend Busanan and keep her home fans riveted to their seats with great awe and admiration during their last match of the afternoon. Or will May's injured leg really work against her this time?

Quack doctor's advice still needed?

The news was just before the tournament started. That's the latest one we got about her injuries. Her instagram picture came out about 2 days after.

The news said so. Go ask any local to verify. Any further question, you'd better talk to her doc!

Amazing! Srikkanth wins his maiden GPG. Congratulations!

Feel sorry for Boonsak though... a win at home would be such a nice feeling for him, specially as he hasn't many more years left in the tank...

The gentleman who gave the medals is a chatty one! :D Making Srikkanth feel at ease, and the atmosphere in the stadium feels very friendly, too!

Saw him play for the first time. Amazing agility and speed. Thanks Anatta for providing the link. This guy hasn't dropped a set the whole tournament.

I like how Boonsak is making a comeback. Winning this tournament would have made his comeback complete I guess he has to wait a little while longer. I would've loved Boonsak's win here but due to my loyalties lie with my compatriot so I love Srikanth's win more.

And that looks like the end of the live streaming! :(
Meanwhile, it's a tough ol' fight between the Korean and Russian pairs, 10-10 in game 1.

Srikanth!!!!

I am kinda not surprised though. Srikanth and HS Prannoy are giant killers and we can expect to see a lot more from them in the future.

i join you in congratulating Srikanth for such a spirited display over local hero Boonsak.

Who would have imagined that a player who many outside of India knows little about almost completely whitewashed an experienced past champion and ex-Olympian in easy straight games.

Let's hope Srikanth will continue to train hard and wake up the badminton world with his youthful abilities.
