who's The Best Stamina MS PLayer at This Moment? Could it be LCW? Is that why he is changing his game plan to rally nowadays. To me, he never seems to get tired around the court no matter who the opponent is. GO Duracell GO! Hit the Drum non-stop!!! :D:D:D:D

LOL, I can predict the content of his thread by just reading the title and the poster's name .

And yeah, I agree that LCW probably has the best stamina, along with LD.

But I think KJ should be worth mentioned too, for his age and style of play.

I think that LCW is very fit with great energy level. But I do have a question here. Does he have the problem some called on/off days? We saw him very sluggish at AE 08 MSSF against CJ. I don't know what was the explanation about his sudden change after beating TH a day earlier (maybe it had been said somewhere, my apology). If he does have this problem, are we going to see him off again

Even with a full fitness Taufik is still not among the best in terms of stamina. Given the style of play Lin Dan has which uses a lot of power, he should be the fittest and LCW being next. KJ is also another energizer bunny, never gives up.

Agreed, TH is not exactly known for his excellence when it comes to stamina. LD & LCW pretty much the at the top of it right now.

Stamina should not just be considered as a 1 day match going a long distance. It should be viewed as "how many days of tournament can 1 player compete in and still have a high-level of energy". Otherwise, even Hafiz had great stamina back in 2003 WC where he had a 103 minutes match with LHI.:p

Lin Dan proved to everyone early last year when he played in 3 tournaments in a row, and he played a total of 14 matches (5 in German not including the final, 5 in AE 07, and 4 in Swiss 07 where he got injured).

LCW showed signs of tiredness over and over in different matches... just go back and watch him play in HK open 2005 vs Lin Dan... he was wasted.

    Do you know..

..where we (normal fans) can get what LD took to go through that 14 matches marathon??.. ;)
*Btw, this thread should probably be in the Professional Players sub-forum..

If LCW is the fittest, then HAFIZ gets my vote for the opposite. Time to do something Hafiz, age is definitely catching up.

I think LCW is the fittest compare to LinDan at the moment. Lindan's fitness level has gone down a little.

I think Vietnamese player Tien Minh is also up there, unfortunately he's still lack of deceptiveness and attacking ability in his game.

I don't miss him but I think we may still need him for Thomas Cup.
