it's only (1/4)^3 if there are an infinite number of places available in a random draw. with 16 places available it's (3/15) * (2/14) * (1/13) = 0.2% with 32 places available it's (7/31) * (6/30) * (5/29) = 0.8%

Statistics on draws are kind of pointless. Regardless, the top players will meet at some point in the tournament whether its the 1st, 2nd or later round and the best player will (usually) win. Thats just how tournaments work, interesting isnt it.

Have you checked how many non-CHN players are meeting their teammates? Do you think that's fishy? It just means CHN fielded many players per event.If CHN fielded only one per event,the fish will disappear.
Actually, 4th-seed got a slot. 7th-seed only has 4 possible slots Unseededs only has 24 possible slots as the other 8 slots are taken by seeds. So, the chances are (1/4) * (6/24) * (5/23) = 1.4%
But other than that, I don't for a moment subscribe in conspiracy theories about the draw. You can always find something fishy about ANY draw.
