Where will I put my money if I am a betting man?

One is consistently on winning form for the last couple of years and the other is on good form recently.
One is 29 and the other is only 22.
One is a natural defender and the other is keen to attack.
And both wanted to defeat the other badly for different reasons.

One thing got a good going for the 29 years old is I believe he never lost to the same guy twice in a row, at least not recently.
Taking all that into considerations I will say the 29 years old has a slight edge.

Where do you guys will put your hard earned money in?

LCW will crushed CL. No doubt CL will be the supremo in the next few years, but for now LCW is the one to beat.

This is an important match for both LCW and CL. For CL, it will prove that his win over LCW is not just a one-off thing and that he is out to threaten the godlike positions of both LCW and LD. As for LCW, he has never lost to another opponent twice in a row since he opened up his attacking game about the end of 2009 beside Lin Dan.

I believe that should LCW loses, he will lose a lot of confidence and CL will gain even more confidence. It will be tougher to beat CL again if LCW loses for the second consecutive time.

From LCW's performance against PG, I would say CL to edge it out. LCW does not seem fit in this tournament compared to before the WC, but playing better than Japan.

    Hopefully LCW wins.

I think if CL takes LCW to 3 games he will win. The 1 extra day of freshness plus a less taxing SF helps. LCW looks to be struggling for fitness too.

LCW looked a bit tired and slow in the last couple of matches. Sure he is still better than CJ and Gade, but he didn't impose himself. I wouldn't be surprised if CL wins again today.

Dun worry ! LCW will win this time. He has found a way to beat CL. He said this before leaving for Denmark. What he need to do is moving around CL and do more forehand smashes instead of cross-court smashes. In Japan open, LCW did a lot of cross court smashes and all his cross - court smashes were picked up by CL easily and these have put him in a tremendous disadvantagous to recover the shot ! LCW has been practicing forehand smashes for the past 3 weeks before leaving for Denmark !

one more factor is the 22 years old and his coaching team know the 29 years old's games inside out, but couldn't say it the other way round.

Agree. So the 29 years old gotta play with great variation and keep the 22 years old guessing so the programming jams to a halt.

CL won t make LCW lose confidence even if he wins. This match is not the end all or be all. CL s just missile seeking for LCW that s why it s tough for LCW. But do you know why CL struggled against SWH and INA SS who are nowhere yet?

i'm not sure but at least it's truth for the last 3-4 years, any older than that doesn't really matter, it was history.
