I'm completely game for a revived MX80. But looking like that. I'll hoard my old colours thanks. Even the uglier MX80N didn't hit this low below the belt.

Look at the picture it seems that there is not the 80 holes system
    Might be a MX80R like the BS11?

If they redesigned it, would it also suffer sinking grommets?

    Yup...
According to BadmintonCN, changed to 76 holes and increase in inner foam density...

Makes no sense to me. The old MX80s are bloody tanks for what they are already. Not to mention the 80 holes is part of what gives it its classic feel.

There is only one way to find out for yourself and you know it... You will have to buy one and compare...

Don't knock it until you've tried it. I used to make that mistake! ;)

I'm just glad that the Bravesword and Meteor ranges are not completely killed off.

Yeah it's not the prettiest looking colour scheme but if it plays well, does it matter?

Yeah but I'd rather have an ugly racquet that plays well than one that is "all show but no go"!

    *cough* Nanoray ZS *cough* :p

But honestly. I find it so ugly that I can't even bring myself to try it.

Ohhhh... I LIKE that new MX80 - reminds me of that green Gosen Gungnir a bit.
Also, they ditched that retarded stringing pattern - for a 2+4, no less!
    ALSO, it comes in 4UG6?!

I really like this racket. The 80 pattern was the reason why I sold my 2 MX80'S. Were too annoying if you string them often. Also fit's perfect to my team jerseys of last season. Hope they fixed the sinking holes problem for all of the newer stuff. Otherwise my next ones will be from the evil empire or LN.

Why is it annoying to string?
I don't have any issues with it myself, that's why I'm asking.
