This is a tournament which will help the young and unestablished players to improve their rankings and their experience.

Lakshay sen defeated kantaphon wangchareon in a three set thriller with a score line of 28-26 16-21 21-16. Good confidence boosting win for the 15 years old youngsters.

Kantaphon Wangcharoen is a bit inconsistent but Lakshay Sen is still the better player.

Most player, especially juniors should not take this tournament for granted as it is important to
    increase their ranking.

Leong Jun Hao should be fitter than the last tournament he entered.
He did double duty with Sim Fong Hau and at least 5 Round in each section.

Riichi Takeshita of JPN is the man to beat in MS. Apparently, he is a veteran and can handle
    most inexperienced player.

Both CHN MS, Ye Binghong and Ren Pengbo singled out by IND rivals, respectively, Anand Pawar and Aditya Joshi.

No live scores for this tournament. It's very sad that Asian lower level tournaments doesn't have live scores. But in Europe they have live scores for almost tournaments at every level

Agree with you. BWF should insist on this for all tournaments.

Lakshay sen lost to the much established Indonesian youngster fikri ihsan hadmadi in straight sets 21-19 21-11. He needs more time on the senior circuit to become a better player.

Somehow, the lower ranked tournament is wildly unpredictable. There are no consistent player at all.
Most of the top seeds are already sent packing and lots of underdogs are in QF.

Soo Teck Zhi of MAS, formerly Asian Junior Champion finally have the motivation to compete?
I truly wonder what really happen after NZ Open last year, his ranking and form quickly fades away.

Hui Xirui is the most likely to win the WS title.

I think the Japanese WS are better than HX. Hope the CBA and the KBA will send more juniors to these tournaments. Then we will see juniors from Asia competing together!!

I have though of that too. JPN women are always persistent and a tough one to crack.

Wished to see more diversity (in terms of nationality), but satisfied with the semi-finalists..good mix of toppers and upcoming youngsters :)
