Now with the exit of LXR in this tournament, it's official that WSX is the best performing China WS player here. All WSX needs to do now is win the title.

I knew this would happen when CJ became the head coach of WS. No eye see.

Zhang Ning needs to come back and helps Sun Yu!!!

But that's the problem you see... These players don't get any chance to play out. I would also bet they don't get as much personal attention as other players would get.

I second that. Yet, I don't necessarily know what is going on inside. I would rather give CJ and Zhang Ning equal chance by giving them one or two players each so that there is enough competition within the CHN camp.

I must say, the biggest thing lacking in the CHN WS camp is energy. They just seem to lack it.

Possibly, Chen Jin's young career as Chief Coach is not very secure, at the rate CHN WS is going.

Sun Yu is making progress but only at an incremental pace, too slow when CHN WS is in need of reinforcement.

Time is getting pressing for Chen Jin to come up with a solution, it takes at least a year or two for any promising up-and-comer to gain the necessary experience and establish herself in the international circuit.

One thing to mention here, as far as I know, Zhang Ning is incharge of Sun Yu, not Chen Jin.

yes, i think u are right. But Zhang Ning only goes to GP/GPG events, not much at SS level..

anyway, watch Bao vs Eom... it's very good..

How come BWF has released rankings in the middle of a tournament?

I just saw the MD draw. Man! 3 Chinese pairs!!! Some of them defeated well established and regarded players like KO/Shin!

    What an irony!

There needs to be serious changes in CHN WS to save grace.

One problem with CHN is of course that they don't give an exposure to International circuit to their young players. Sun Yu is about the same age as Carolina, but how many tournaments has she played?

I saw the Nanjing final of He Bingjiao, and must say was impressed. She had the quality of a champion, the hunger, and the ability to feed off pressure. Yet, she isn't sent to ANY tournament. A pity! Just see her compatriot Akane in that sense. She has now had the experience of playing in all sorts of competitions now.
