Just wanna ask when the ticket starts selling? Scare can't grab the ticket.
yes, where can we get the tickets??
anybody can tell where to buy thomas cup ticket?
yes..please do inform us all where we can purchase the tickets online..tq
ticket information should be available shortly. stay tuned.
I am also periodically looking at website to check on sales of TC/UB tickets.
The last few major badminton events in Malaysia, tickets were sold via the "Axcess" website.
As of now, still no new news yet on ticket sales.
i remember that time 2007 world championships, the agent who sell the ticket is ticketpro
I hope it will be better organise than the MO 2010. It was a real disaster!!! People were fighting for good seats....till police have to come in....
are you sure that police was there that time??
yes... i was there for QF and SF..... but the police were quick.... and also not many people notice....since everybody were busy watching the game.
Hope this time we can book seat numbers for Thomes Cup... free seating don't work very well in M'sia
yes free seating is like buffet you can see how " evil " the human race is on that ...
However, numbered seats make people take their own sweet time. They will arrive whenever they want and what matches they want to see since their seats are secured. People who comes early will have to stand up and let latecomers to take their seats.
Free seating promotes punctuality.
i want ticket!! when can i buy it???
Free seating on Thomas Cup event? I cannot imagine people will be rushing and fighting to get good seat. It will be disaster!!! NO FREE SEATING!!!:crying:
Its gonna be very ugly if Thomas Cup giving free seating!!! :crying:
It was my first time in KL to watch Malaysia Open in Jan 2010. Bought the Premium ticket then. I estimated that there were extra 30-40% more people in the Premium area than the premium seats can accommodate.
Saw many loop holes mainly in crowd control:-
1) People goes in & out are only identified by tickets (so, possibly, once inside one can collect a few more tickets and go outside to bring in more people).
2) The demacation area are not clearly defined. It allows people to move too freely, especially when the toilet is located "outside" + several Exit pts (also act as possible entry pts).
3) There are limited Guides/Controllers in giving "directions/orders". Some allow people to sit on the steps, some allow people to reserve seats, some allow people to enter via "Exit" door, etc. Maybe erecting more barricades can better manage these inconsistency.
Really hope Malaysia can iron these out for a more pleasant and enjoyable watch. The "stadium" should be prepared for many more "Passionate Badminton Mad" crowd for TC/UC as compared to MO.
Btw, anyone has any news on when the sales of TC/UC tickets?
yes! I WAS THERE for the MO 2010.. free seating really not work! number seating pls!!
i agree with pwong .. free seating could also spells trouble ..
Not if you are a fan of elevated upper tier seats.
yes you can even bring your own sleeping bag there as well
