HCK/ZHD has to fight so hard to win G3. I believe the CHN coaches are watching how the CHN team performs here individually to see who is worthy of inclusion in the Sudirman Cup lineup.

With Lu Guangzu losing to Cheam June Wei despite beating Kantaphon Wangcharoen and Lee Cheuk Yiu in fairly convincing manner, and Han Yue not really tested as she only get to play one match so far, beating MAS Lee Ying Ying, I think it's still unsure how favourably they will be viewed by their coaches.

    China team will be:
    Chen Yufie + He Binjiao
    Li/Liu + Han/Zhou
    Chen Long + Shi Yuqi
    Chen/Yifan + Du/Li
    Wang/Huang + Zheng/Huang

There is no one from Tong Yun Kai cup will be called for a seat in Sudirman cup but Du/Li

If I'm not wrong, each MA can send maximum 20 players, that is , four players are reserves for singles/doubles. Also , in case of unforeseen circumstances, eg injury or illness , but the team list has to be submitted within the stipulated time as per Annexure I

    See https://system.bwfbadminton.com/doc... Section 3 - Sudirman Cup - November 2016.pdf
    12. NOMINATION OF TEAMS
12.1 Each competing Member Association is responsible for determining the criteria and method of selecting players for nomination, and for nominating players, to represent its Association.
12.2 Each competing Member Association shall nominate to the BWF, not fewer than two male and not fewer than two female players; and not more than total 20 players, from whom its team will be selected for a tie, within the stipulated time as per Annexure I.

Yeah, you are right! 20 slots

4 slots left can be Liu Cheng/Zhang Nan, Lin Dan (rank 16 > rank 20 Lu Guangzu), and maybe Cai Yanyan or Han Yue.

In XD, I think that the two pairs, Zhang/Huang and Wang/Huang are enough, there is no need to bring more another pair because Zhang Nan and Li Yinhui also can play well in XD in the worst case that Zheng/Huang/Wang/Huang cannot play.

Lin Dan will be chosen for sure. His rank is 16, and Lu Guangzu's rank is 20. More than that, we all know that Lin Dan is the one who is indispensable. This tournament can be the last Sudirman cup of Lin.

In my opinion, just He Binjiao and Chen Yufie are enough in WS, there is no need to bring Han Yue, Cai Yanyan. The 20th slot can be He Jiting, who can play both men's double and mixed double.

it's just my choice as assuming I'm the one who can chose ^-^, just wait for the true choice from team leader of China.

How sure you are! JPN isn't really weak to CHN. From the line up, neither is superior to each other. I, at least, will expect much more interesting matches between them.

You point it out. China is drawn in tough group for Sudirman Cup alongside with IND & MAS. Don't think CHN will field the reserved players against Pusarla Sindhu/Saina Nehwal and Goh Jin Wei. At knock-out phase, Chen Yufei will be their backbone to earn WS point.

As expected China won over Hong Kong, 3-0. Tang CM/Ng TY did their good job to force He JT/Du Y into rubber games, the more compact Chinese youngsters prevailed. Lu Guangzu answered the doubtness to beat Lee Cheuk Yiu and Kantaphon Wangcharoen previously, the Chinese suffered shocking defeat to low-ranked MAS player Cheam June Wei in group-stage. Then Han CK/Zhou HD ensured China final ticket, defeated the unheralded HKG pair Chang TC/Yeung MN.

Turns out that Ayako/Yukiko will play last. Yuta only gets to play XD. The line up is interesting.
