seems like nobody answer but as far as I know as thai his contract with Thai badminton federation has ended and he decides not to extend it and become a freelance player and and now he has started practicing with his former partner maneepong after like 5 or 6 years. Their partner nipitphon and nantakarn also form a new partnership. my comment I hope they can overcome their past grudge now that they aren't that hot-headed and are more grown up. Also, I hope they can reach their former form and continue their ,as we thai call it, hell-break-loose-double legacy
CHI vs FRA : looking at the matchs, France already assumed they will not win, and concentrate on the last match and I hope quarter finals. Merkle against Lin Dan in MS3. Popov with Kersaudy in MD2.
Wow, Brice Leverdez is playing control now? No wonder he's gotten those quads! That's incredibly brave -- pitting his error rate/ consistency against Chen Long's? Well, at least that means that he can keep playing until he's 36, if he wants to...
A runaway victory for Chen Long in G2, 21-5. When The Dragon is in his element, he's damn difficult to deal with, pushing you to the limit until you break down, for most of his opponents.
mehhh, It is only to let LD get the feel of the court I guess. So at least he can directly get in form when and if the time comes in KO stage
What a delightful performance from Giquel/ Labar -- such effective tactics and amazing focus! Although their skills are not up to par with CHN, who'd have thought that Liu/Zhang would have already made 31 "errors" before they made 42?
Liu/Zhang won the match. Yay! That young French Gicquel(?) was pretty good considering his lack of experiences. Good skill and variations he had (better than Liu Cheng sometimes).
Gicquel is really good in MD and XD. And you see, when he plays, he enjoy the game. And that really awesome to see that. Big future IMO.
Some players just thrive in team events, the team spirit uplifting them to play above themselves as well as gaining inspiration from comrades who rose to the occasion and causing upsets by beating highly fancied opponents.
I reckon INA will rest Ginting in THA match and Jonatan will start. Ginting will be MS1 vs Korea’s SWH. INA has many good MD pairs and any of them can defeat any THA pairs. They will wrap up the match vs THA with 1 pt from MS and 2 from MD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
