Not too familiar with both but from what I saw if sindhu gets the length in her clears and lifts right and keeps okuhara away from net she can win ....but it will be a close 3 setter I think and hope for.

HongWei has decided to retire from InternationalCompetition!

How come i feel quite saddened by that? so much of unfulfiled talent. Certainly Chai has let him down times and times if you watched their matches

and darn you ZhangNan. you should have let him win. Humans are just mortal beings.

TBH i think saina played a really strong clear game with some decent smashes, but NO managed really well in my opinion. NO beat saina by changing her tactics, i was happy to see her challenge saina at the net more often, because thats where she really lacks.

I didn't watch CYF and PVS, can someone shed light on what PVS did right yesterday?

don't use this 100 percent thing fan, there are certain elements here who will get triggered and imply something else with that and then provide their "expert" judgement which really isn't required so please don't do that :D

Nozomi Okuhara is ready for the final this afternoon. She said "This is 2016 Olympic rematch"

Any fan saying his beloved player lost because he was not full fit is annoying.

The belt is a great idea and adopted by badminton it would give WC the prestige it lost when made annual. The World Champ would have the privilege to wear the belt when entering the courts for his/her/their matches for the whole year. Or maybe a special color for the T-shirt, like in cycling.

I heard about Zhang Nan ambition to get the achievement in World Championship's gold medal number at least the same amount with Zhao Yunlei which is 5 Gold medals, so he needs 2 more gold medals. Maybe his last tournament will be next year World Championship in Nanjing.
