I am really intrigued, looking at the changeover now, i look at Lin's conversation with the coaches, it's as though he had worked out a game plan after the 1st game and used it to dismantle Holst in the second, fascinated by the exchanges and his expression.
Holst is a very annoying player to play against. Good length and big high clears a lot of time + good defense. You must really work hard to beat him, it seems.
Lin Dan in his younger days won't be smashed and left stranded so many times, frustratinging to see; admittedly, age is catching up with him.
People will probably hate me for saying that but LD nowadays seems like an improved Nguyen, Zwiebler or Son Wan Ho. Better deception and anticipation, but a runner nevertheless.
