    Exactly.
I remember WSX saying that she's not concerned about her shrieks, if only it gives her assurance that she (WSX) is giving hard time to CM and her opponent has the constant urge to keep herself up by any which way possible.
That's not exactly her words, can't remember obviously, but the meaning is 100%

i'm not european, i support her not because of country but personal. I wish she was crying last night like when she lost in 2012. I need to see more hunger from her

Marin did her best. The reason i support her she is the flag bearer of European countries.(other than Denmark ). That is so hard to understand for people? imo, she is a lone warrior.

Badminton has no breakthrough if the Asian Countries keep winning it.
I'm European, but the last thing I need is for the worst sportsperson in the entire sport to represent me in some way. Nationality should really matter so much that it trumps character.

I agree and disagree with both of you :)
Undersigned is generally just tired of Bigotry, xenophobia, overblown nationalism, chauvinism and the overall lack of intellectual excess
    Let's celebrate the diversity AND
May the best men or woman win/ Regardless of the flags colour

I'm not European and I can't stand Carolina Marin's behavior either. However, despite Marin's behavior, she has been a net plus for badminton in Europe, especially in Spain. If she does well, she can open the path to more Europeans focusing on professional badminton.

Say what you will, but Marin increased the exposure of badminton to Spain by a factor of 100x when she won that Olympic gold medal.

Japan has the big chance to break 40 year Duck in WorldChampionship.

I wonder if that is a good thing or a bad thing?
like what the hell they have been doing in the past 40 years. Especially now WC is hold almost every year.

I still hope WC willl be hold every two years for good. I think AllEngland is more prestigious than WC.

To me, All England is the most prestigious. Guess we were born in this era.

I disagree, Badminton does not need 'Screamerama' Marin period, the country of Denmark has stood against the mighty powerhouses of badminton for years and will continue to do so, if any European country wants to step up with Denmark, leave the bull ring tactics behind.

lin dan is simple above all in any tourney, no suprise that he got 5 wc. When u are almost always the best, u'll have self-confidence, otherwise it's just illusion. Marin's winning percent in major game is way higher than other tourney

lin dan is the best, no surprise for all of his winning. But marin is not, there're always some girls play as good as her or better.

it's incredible that she got so many tittle that so many ppl can only dream abt. But to keep motivation, i think she should blame herself instead of "i learn so much from this and will be back". Take this as one of biggest disappointment in her career

    Yup

When i was a kid in 90s, i never heard of WorldChampionship. All I hear was AllEngland and its the tournament that i most look forward to.

so obviously its more important than WC.

and you can see the crowds here are boring. How can it beat the passion of 2017 AllEngland even? Totally different feel imo.

Lets hope the shuttle are flying slow, that'll suit Chen Long better against the mighty attacks of Viktor Axelsen,
does anyone feel Viktor's backhand smash is awesome, think it's the best in world badminton at this moment in time,
i just love how he does it.
