Prediction for Saina / Ratchanok Match

Ratchanok the former WC champ is a great player and could definitely beat the Indian shuttler if retains her form but would be a tough match as both of them are former World no.1 and have many titles to their names.

But given the recent past poor performances by SN it seems she is not at the best of her forms and also because somewhere she is the oldest of current players so may be age is the matter here.

Though I dont mean to demean or lower her stats but For me RI is a favourite for today but Anythin could happen and Saina has the potential but lets see if she could use it to her fullest to pass through to Quarters.

What galls me the most is Shi Yuqi doesn't or seldom play so well against most of his foreign rivals.

still on track for 2020. i didn't view their all england title as a sign of 'arrival' thereby considering them the favorite in every match up. i'm not expecting them to break out until this time next year, 2019.

next year is also an important one for korea. xd/wd/md will start making waves as well. i think tokyo 2020 will be all about japan vs. korea. like japan, korea's top players are at the right age and will have accumulated a firm base of wt 500/750/1000 tournament experience by then.

What Lin Dan have shown today is far away from the adversity the foreign rivals can offer to Shi Yuqi.

Hopefully, Ratchanok can win this one, and make a redemption arc following her injury.

if you want to see how wide the gap between opposing players are, check the score of game 3.

if at 3-3 in the 3rd you're outscored 18-5 [corrected] what does that tell you?

A good effort by GJW, shame that she could not deliver at 21-20, might have given the WC a scare.

Nice to see an older and outdated player like SN movin around a lot may be RI isnt feelin well today or else a good player like RI could defeat and outdated player like SN any day.

India need more players in WS the only legendary player i can think of is PVS.

First game won by veteran SN ..lets see if RI could recover or face an upset by a veteran.
