A proof of my CLAIM that legends are made and remembered only through Majors..Being No.1 without a major is like an insult to the No.1 tittle

    GILLIAN Clark's starements for PVS

"4 TIMES WC MEDALIST OG silver medalist AMAZING achievement for a 24 Year old goes to show what a wonderful player she is"

The Man commentator adds "She is a BIG TOURNAMENT player"

See thats what Im saying Tomorrow when PVS retires she will have nothing to worry about she will always have her name as The FINEST player A legend who had a never say never attitude who was the most consistent MAJOR WS ever and made sure her country's flag flew.

So I would rather have MAJOR Silvers than 10000 SS tittles and No.1 Rankikg forever but Not even a bronze at OG or WC.

Let's see how many upsets can happen from now on. Every predictions, statistics, etc. are thrown out of the window like it's nothing.

    4. Choi/Seo (6.50) vs Marcus/Kevin (1.10)
    5. Lamsfuss/Seidel (6.00) vs Endo/Watanabe (1.11)

I am not really sure about that last part of yours, although being number one without a major medal feels empty. For me, one player is a worthy of being number one if they have some titles (at least WT500+) that contributing to their points.

A bit surprising that anything had lower odds than the minions match...although I get why ppl would bet against a pretty unknown Scottish pair :D still, Issara/Jongjit have never gotten back to their pre-scandal standard, I'd never bet on such a volatile pair either

Possibly with the exception of Japan.

Never mind him. I bet he will soon found his own badminton federation with his own criteria and rules. I am quite happy with BWF despite their defects.

when Minions enter the court they are introduced as "The Current World No.1s"
    but

when WC or OG Medalists enter they are introduced as
" The Two/Three/Four/Five times WC Medalist or OG Medalist "
Sounds much powerful compared to the fomer dont you think ?

I get your point, but that`s just a horrible example to state that Big Tournaments are all that counts. At this moment Sindhu will certainly not go down in history books as a big time player and badminton legend. If anything she will be remembered as loosing every single big final she played. Sukamuljo and Gideon have much more of a winner mentality than Sindhu for sure and the far better career up to this point. Despite crashing out early in WC, they pretty much dominate every other tournament for three years now in spectacular fashion.

I don't care much about whatever the commentator will say about that. Doesn't make me goes "Woah!" either. As much as I am saddened for minions' loss, I will stay on their side as their fans.

I think I share the same statement as yours in the latter part.

I bet many people will create their own badminton federation like you said to see which one is more mightier and righteous. :D

Honestly its cooler being WR1 than WC. Its the effort of 1 year of hardwork..., cant beat that.

Though if some player is called Olympic Champion, I think that will be different. I think its nicer than WR1. The last 2 MD Olympic Champ didnt last long to hear that.

I was surprised too. Possibly because Choi/seo aren't meek.
