I think Sen should learn to not throw the racket on the air.

If the racket hit the umpire or opponent, he can be lost the tournament (like Djokovik)

That was very risky indeed to throw that hard. He could have been black carded in theory if it hit someone.

Another AY vs ASY duel
Both must be tired of seeing each other on the opposite side of the net already.:D

Prannoy has beaten LKY twice before. But that was in 2019. LKY is a totally different player now. Still, a good mental edge to have.

Zhao Junpeng keeps feeding LS smashes by not being able to neutralise his opponent's net play and was forced to lift and defend his smashing prowess with more failure than success. Often holding just 1 or 2 matchpoints is not a decisive advantage, anything can still happen.

Good job, Sen, holding his nerves at critical moments and going for it to come out on top. Team IND is assured of at least one finalist.

I am so happy. Two Indian semifinalists and an Indian finalist confirmed. And this is when they didn't have any foreign dedicated coach available.

An Seyoung had a scare yesterday at Wang Zhiyi's hands - she must put that match behind her and be prepared, mentally and physically, to start all over again with her perpetual opponent of late, the very in-form and tricky Akane Yamaguchi.

Am I the only one who finds ASY a bit boring. She’s a great player but doesn’t have any flash in the game.

ASY clearly gave up halfway through that game. She will come back strong in G2 likely

A grueling and and stressful three-setter with WZY yesterday seems to have taken a toll on ASY today.

Yeah, Lakshya was lucky. But I am happy that he seized the opportunity. Whereas I think, Kidambi could have won nonetheless. There was only 1 withdrawal of Ginting in his section of draw and I think he had fair chances of defeating Ginting.
