    Yeah placement was good but he didn't show that he was able to play smash winners point after point. Maybe it just doesn't come naturally to him. Some players are able to force the situation and get smash winners like in the Wei Nan - LCW match. Momota could play a great smash when the opportunity was given to him, but these opportunities didn't come often and he wasn't able to force these opportunities like some other players.

    JPN should be able to seal this 3-2 tbh. Jeon's last international outing was way back 2018. Will be totally unexpected if Tsuneyama can't convert this. I fully expect Watanabe/Koga to easily grab MD2 afterwards. Idk bout Nishimoto though but if he loses to an unranked player, he didn't deserve to be on the lineup (or the team).

    His racket swing doesn't have much back swing. Idk - for now im impressed.
