Super excited to watch young Indonesian XD pair: J Hidayatullah and F Pasaribu. Fresh from winning Taipei Open last week. Great defense and brave net playing from Pasaribu. Great coverage and fast play from Hidayatullah. Their playing style reminds me of Yuta Watanabe and Arisa Igarashi.
 
Pitchamon has played really well lately..
Wondering how long her back will stand fast moving and hitting from low
 
The courts with camera down low are so low quality, can not even make out the players faces

Women’s doubles. Fourth and fifth seeds both beaten by HK pairs. That’s a big morale boost for HK.

The new doubles coaches for HK have had about three months working with the HK players now. Having two pairs beating two seeds makes it less of a coincidence.

But unfortunately, both pairs lost today.
 
In Busanan vs HQX match, umpire asked to chinese coach to change his shirt even before the match has started. I don't know the reason.

Usually if a Chinese player is playing in the match, no Chinese umpire will be assigned to that match. For that matter, no umpire with the same nationality as the players will be assigned to the match.

No. I was talking about chinese coach. Just lost my concentration while typing it. Later forgot to revisit the post. Just now saw it and corrected it.
Actually umpire asked the chinese coach to change his shirt .
Anybody knew why?

Missed that. Have to ask the umpire or the coach. Indecent attire by the coach? 🤣
 
Bit of a breakthrough for the young Danish md pair Kjaer/Boe. I’ve basically only seen them in lower level tournaments before (which they usually win) but here they are in the semifinals of a Super-500, beating Man/Tee and Lee/Lee on the way.

Ive not been able to find how they are related to other famous Kjaers and Boes. Anyone know?
