I say, book as many sessions as we can, not every Vancouver BFer will be able attend every session, plus, I don't think LB would mind passing away to the badminton-courts-in-the-sky with a big :D on his face! (I'll buy the life insurance policy first!) just kidding!

Sunday nite would be a good nite to play at the VRC. We can sign you in then! Maybe Timeless and Badrad will turn up?

Very possible but it's gonna be a logistical challenge since we don't even know how many BF'ers will show up. If there's too many, then there may not be enough VRC members to sign us in:(. At least with C1, we can book two or three courts and let everybody come in to visit/play with LB.

Its really up to LB. We go to VRC every sun nite so we know there will be people to play with. If he wants to come try a different facility, he is welcome to be our guest ( its a 10 dollar guest fee and you have to bring your own birds) If there is something organized for Clear One, thats fine too. I think Darryl has his training group till 730 on sunday nites.

Reviewing my data for 2004, the average player turn-out is 22, some days more, some days less.

A double session is definitely do-able! Baddy, food, conversation, baddy, food, and sleep! :D

You should try a triple session... Baddy, Baddy, FOOD, conversation, baddy, food, and crash! :D :D :D

Yes, and that will be a great condition for a cardiac arrest:D. Too much of a good thing can't be a good thing:p.

1st cut about my possible schedule:

Sat, April 10 evening: VRC or ClearOne

    Sun, April 11 afternoon: Collingwood
Sun, April 11 evening: ClearOne or VRC or Collingwood

    Mon, April 12 evening: Cameron

    Tues, April 13 evening: ClearOne

So far, seems ppl give multi suggestions on Sat and Sun night between VRC and ClearOne. Is that possible to let the 2 groups to provide their "perfer" schedule, and maybe I can make a decision depend on the "demand" and "facility avaiablity" (i.e. VRC needs enough members to sign in), etc.

If there's high demand, I don't mind to add another one for Sat afternoon. However, with limited stamina, I have to consider to save energy for the rest of the days, so, can't play intensively all the time. But I don't mind to watch a little bit more, while chatting with ppl on the side.

    Thanks for all suggestions.

If LB is around Vancouver on Saturday, we could explore some of the sites and sounds of Vancouver east-side (heheh - main and hastings), then drop in to Britannia in the afternoon. Afterwards time for get-together dinner before evening badminton at the VRC or Clearone?

The rest of the week sounds pretty well booked, although LB could play at the VRC during the mornings and afternoons Monday and Tuesday as well.

My flight will arrive in VAN around 11:30pm (to my usual EST time, that will be 2:30am). Therefore, I am not sure about how early I could get up on Sat, even though, 4-5 hrs of sleep generally should be enough for me. Therefore, the whole day plan for Sat should be good for me. We still need to do a "vote" (might be too early as for now, since we still have 5-6 weeks) to figure out either VRC or ClearOne.

Mon and Tues morning and afternoon? I suppose not too many BFers could be around by then. However, if I can manage to get up (if I could survive double sessions on sunday), why not? :D

Am I aiming for 4 days of double sessions for baddy??? I guess if I can stay alive (maybe borrow Kwun's oxygen tank), I will really get this trip worth. ;)

If it is Saturday night at VRC, I am almost certain that I can sign one guest in.

Me, me, me! Sign me in, Marky ... but seriously there should be a headcount of guests vs members, just for accounting (and entry) into VRC.

I'm pretty much up for anything...

VRC/ClearOne at anytime on the weekends. Just let me know and I'll be there. I can sign someone in at VRC as well. My wife might be around to sign someone in at VRC as well.
Community centres on a weekday will depend on the time, place, etc.

With suggestions from Traum and Cappy75, I borrowed a hard leather luggue from a friend. Hopefully I can get all my rackets wrapped up properly and heading to VAN.

Sorry LazyBuddy :( , but the Sunday April 11 evening session 8:30pm-midnite is out, it is being taken by someone else. There still is the afternoon session at Collingwood.

Does anyone have anything promising for Sunday evening?

No worry, BMS. Thanks a lot for your update. So, 4/11 (sunday) is down to ClearOne or VRC now. ;)

I was going to suggest RBC for Sunday evening, but I didn't know if RBC can handle a large group of drop-in BFers.

    Hi BMW,

The answer is RBC is too small to hold that many people.

BMW? You're subliminally submerged in autos, Pete ... :D

    it's Break-My-String ... not Bavaria Motor Works (or something-or-rather)
