10-20 min waits up is nothing new to me. :D

Now seems we have 3 choices for Sat night now:

    1. Just play in ClearOne on Sat night, and move VRC to Sun night.

    2. Play in VRC on Sat night, come in late, as we enjoy a good relax dinner, and play with less intensive schedule at first, then, rock after mid night.

    3. Play in ClearOne first, after midnight, storm back to VRC and play as long as we could. :D

Let's see which one draw the most vote...

Okay, Daryl got back to me, and he has the two end courts (5/6) for 7:30 to 10 pm (yes - he does close at 10).
If we want those we should book quickly (like tomorrow) as they will get gobbled up quickly. All the other courts are block booked.
    So head count:

Count me in as well! Dave might be able to make it too. Hopefully the other non-posting BF'ers read this and make it too.

Just wanna make this clear: You're referring to Sunday night here, right, badrad?

Court 5 and 6 are absolutely horrible. It's really difficult to judge your distance and various spatial relationships there, and the lighting in that area is not the greatest (although it is still leagues ahead of what you'd find in community centers).

    I forgot to ask...

What do you guys normally do for birds? Does everybody chuck in a few birds (hopefully not used :p ) into the pot, or something else?

Opps... Forgot to mention that even though courts 5 and 6 are not my favourite, I'm still gonna come on Sunday. So sign me up!

And yes, BMS, I would expect everyone here on BF to be pretty civilized, so we'll probably just go by the honour system and have everyone chip in a shuttle every so often.

yes - courts 5/6 are the ones that are quite busy and tunnel vision distractions. but should still be fun to play. It is Sunday night, from 7:30 to 10pm.
Shuttles - Hey BMS - thought maybe you have spare tubes kicking around. Just kidding, normal practice - everyone pitches in shuttles for their games. Since we will likely play an even amount of games, we should all be pretty fair in shuttle usage.

cost - not sure yet, but will depend on how many of us will attend. If normal booking fee of 15 per hour, assume will be around 2.5x2x15 = $75. So if there are 10 of us, will be around $7.50 each. we can get the breakdown from there, the more, the cheaper...

    Badrad,

Thnx a lot for the work. Yeah, let's go ahead and book the courts (so far, at least 7-8 BFers will be there). So, Sunday night is settled to be ClearOne.

BTW, badrad, when you were talking to Darryl, did you also mention that we are interested in booking 2 courts for Tuesday? If we're planning to go there, we should probably book the courts as well. I don't mind asking Darryl about court availability, but I think you'd be a little more influential than I am, and he'd give you "more face" than he would give me.
