OCCUPATION: New grad from SFU (haha smashingbird goodluck :D ), now working as software developer.

BADMINTON SKILL: Beginner/Semi-Intermediate. (or according to SmashingBird's scale, then it's ultra low beginner can't hit anything n00b to the max)

HISTORY: Started playing a couple of years ago with co-workers for fun and liked it ever since. However, I only play, on average, once a week back then and thus it wasn't serious stuff. I finally started taking lessons last year, and met some badminton forum members in the process. I still remember the first lesson that I signed up for: it was with Darryl at Dunbar Community Centre. It's where I first saw Timeless. (I didn't know he was timeless, only found out afterwards in a VRC meet) Then I believe I met Seot at Churchill, and SmashingBird at the church down in steveston.

    BC/BF/BR

Forgot, but probably researching on racquets. Btw, if you know anyone selling a Ti-7 Light, lemme know, I am looking for a backup.

    Other Interests

Cars....but don't have enough money to buy yet!

    Next Goal

    Own SmashingBird

    Other Notes

-What is TTT? I just typed in whatever for the username. Later I found out it's an acronym that stands for "To The Top" that ppl use on message boards to bump a thread to the top of the page. For me right now, TTT stands for "To The Top" of badminton rankings!

-OMG I finally did end to end clears yesterday. Sweet...

-I believe all BFs that I played with have experienced my ultimate deception shot of smash-but-oops-hit-the-frame-and-its-a-drop. Even I was deceived and thought it was gonna be a smash...

Hahaha is that Sunday morning as in our usual Saturday play-till-we-drop to 2AM? Or do you actually come back Sunday morning?!

BTW, you're getting better all the time. Especially now that you're getting proper training and coming out more to play. Just this past Saturday I was thinking, "Hmmm he's improving every week now".

To The Top in no time bro! :)

I understand TTT's office is quite close to C1 and participating a badminton training course during his lunch hour ;-)

Congratulation to your graduation. Travelling from Richmond to SFU is a bit too far to me, so, hope you have a good time on your convo day.

    Thanks!

ahh....The real world....wouldn't it be nice if this was just The Matrix. I mean, they can just load in some badminton program into me and then I wake up in a couple of seconds and say "I know how to jump smash".

    Thanks Marky!

Yup, it's a rush during lunch hour! Have to play and then eat fast afterwards. It's only once a week though. That way, there is less stress on my stomach and my wallet!

Sweet.. a fellow SFU and Ti-7 Light owner!!

Man...the racquet is expensive here. Even though if I found one selling here, I probably won't be getting it since it's so expensive (like $250). I got mine in HK (it's the SP version), so probably I'll get one from HK instead. I was gonna keep my current one for collection purposes, but I couldn't stand the temptation and used it. :D

Now, I'm actually looking for two. One for backup, and a mint one for collection. Ya, I believe it's hard to find it these days since it's a relatively old model. The one you have in Tokyo is different than the one in canada?? Can you post a pic?
