Both U grommets were broken at the top end. My guessing is that the stringer didn't notice that both U grommets were pushed or blocked by the 6 o'clock support when mounting the racket. Even worse, the racket might not mounted properly and 'bumped' into the right position while pulling the string.
hey guys, planning to get the ARS70K, but not sure if there are any differences between the new and old color scheme. I like the new color scheme, but the RRI is just slightly above the middle, whereas the older color one is more towards the stiffer side. I would prefer the a stiffer racket but the old one is hard to come by. Does anyone have experience in both these rackets to help me with the comparison?
Isn’t it the 70F that comes in a new (white) color scheme now? That one was always less stiff. For the 70K, Badminton Guide measures a stiffness similar to BS12: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhl55eFlg_0DXKer1jed5EQaMdXkXOJh_ If you like it stiffer than that you may consider 90K or 98K?
In my opinion, The only reasons for that part to collapse are: - Much higher tension than it is meant to - Manufacturing defect - Inferior quality (happens to fake rackets) Guessing other probable reasons Less likely reasons: - Internal crack from impact - Significant imbalance in tension between both sides especially when starting. Very unlikely yet still possible: - Excessive pressure using starting clamp as a stopper - Improper handling when cutting broken strings (imbalance release of tension, leaving it for too long etc) - Bad string job that does not start from the joints (possibly prior to this case). It needs to add up to the very low probability of unintentionally adding excessive tension to the joints to cause internal damage It is very rare for u grommets to warp. Even if they do, it is unlikely any damage to the joints is due to the inferior grommets. Due credit to all the fervent fanboys of Li Ning, they don't do u-grommets usually and yet they hold up very well, no doubts over their quality.
Guys, I bought a second js12ii. And guess what, the same thing happened. Cracked at the T joint again. Do you think its the stringer or is it the racket? Both stringer and racket supplier are reputable ones. Had the same tension and strings for all my other racket and no problems til this happened. Damn... bad luck....
twice.... It definitely not production faulty tolerant unless someone curse you. Victor need to answer this for sure.
What the hell?! Have you heard anything regarding the warranty for the first one? If we assume that the stringer knows just a little what he’s doing then this is a real issue with the racket in general or at least with that production lot. I guess you have bought both at the same store?
Just fyi, I have j12ii for 3 weeks now and havent got any issue like that. That thing looks really weird and happened twice to you... very interesting
Can anyone share latest victor racket matrix if possible? It is like impossible to find one with new rackets. I specifically wonder dx8s Thanks in advance
There is a matrix in the Victor 2020-21 catalogue on their Europe site but it won't have rackets released in the last few months on it. Would be good if they kept an up to date matrix somewehere. https://www.victor-sport.co.uk/index.php?page=rackets_badminton
Thank you very much kind sir/madam but also, it is confusing. 90k is headlight in European catalogue and it is head heavy here. Also, in European website dx7k is even balanced, but in here it is pretty headheavy...
Reviews from others sites say JS12II has more of a holding feel than the JS12M, can people confirm this to be true? Also which has more hold between JS12II and JS12 original?
