During the current times, a local shop near me is doing a huge discount on many Victor rackets and the deals were just too irresistable to look away so copping a Victor racket is basically a done deal for me at this point. The models im eyeing at are the ARS 90K, JS12M/F and possibly ARS 70K. I came from a 4u 88D and its still serving me well and i noticed that Victor rackets are much speedier so all those models above i will buy in 3u or if you guys feel otherwise would be better. The question here is which one would feel most similar in performance to the 88D,i know buying a 3u wouldnt be a fair comparison but the speedier frame of the Victors would counteract that. Which of these are around the same head weight/HHness(less is fine) while being similarly stiff(also less is fine). Thanks in advance
P.S the 90S is also available but looking at everyone else's 90S breaking/sinking fairly easily made me discouraged.
Even then i dont think its worth the risk since everyone's usage is different and all that. And besides 90S even at 3u may not pack enough punch as i would have wanted. I'd rather deal with a slightly heavier racket than a lighter one. Thanks for your input tho.I've been using 90S for 2 years, no sign of sinking grommets.

I've not seen or played with the racket but am aware that there was a recall from Victor (Asia?) due to the see-through black cone cracking: Victor then updated the model to an opaque cone.Anyone have info or firsthand experience with the Auraspeed 100X or Auraspeed Cai Yun? Couldn't find anything about these rackets' characteristics. I tried my friend's 90S and really liked it, but it's a few years old at this point, not sure if the 100X is an upgrade or something else entirely. Thanks.

From the images on the Victor global website, it appears as though the frame is rather thick/wide and the size of the head is compact; similar to that of the JS10, however other images and videos of the racket makes it appear relatively normal in head-size . . . I'd be grateful if anybody could confirm whether or not it's a compact head or regular sized racket.

( - evidence of the cone cracking. Search in forum for mention of recall)
However there has now been some news regarding Victor using an upgraded freecore handle/cone in their rackets.
(https://www.badmintoncn.com/newsm-view-24130-1.html - Google translate tells us that "VICTOR has re-evolved the core technology of suspension, adding a power ring at the front end of the artificial handle".
(https://bbs.badmintoncn.com/thread-1634199-1-1.html - link shows a display with the "Power Ring" logo and also the upcoming hypersonic racket?)
(https://bbs.badmintoncn.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1632504 - with video of them showing the benefits of the freecore handle)

In addition to all the above, Victor have released a signature TK-F and 100X (Setiawan and Ahsan) but there is little to no information regarding whether or not these signature models will include the upgraded FreeCore that contains the "power ring"; and presumably any other changes that fixes their current issues. Very poor product management on Victor's behalf.I agree. 100X is having a serious issue.
The same with TK F enhanced. I bought TK F Enhanced from AT bad SG. Dont really like the racket but I had to say, i broke it after few games.
See below, which is the same issue with 100X.

I've been using my 88s pros for a year now and am interested to try a Victor racket. I'm a front court player that spends 60% of my time netting the shuttle to set my back court partner with a rain of smashes. I would say I'm proficient at drives as well with the 88s pro. But at the time I am at the back, i would like a racket that's fast enough for front court but pack a stronger punch.
Right now I'm looking at Jetspeed s12 ii, 70k, s12m and maybe auraspeed 90s/90K. All 4Us
