The one above is a BS12 KRP. The last one of the last batch from SOSA. Hence why I am still a little suspicious as to whether back2papa's BS12 KRP is real.
I feel as though the production of the BS 12 is quite off. It is very hard to tell whether it is legit or not due the grommets and other factors of the racket. The seller I bought it from is an actual stringer who has strung for the professionals before during the Australian Super Series. I wasn't sure if the seller was reputable till I came upon the facebook page, as someone mentioned it to me through pm. So, I feel as though the BS12 KRP is real. Also, The seller only had a few KRP's left. If someone searches for badminton supplies S.A. facebook. You will see it.
the blue krp bs12 with full red grommets are the real stuff. the krps that R20190 got from sosa were not of the last batch.
Yep that's what I meant. But SOSA said that they were unlikely to be able to get any more after this as they have stopped producing them. So if a company like SOSA cannot get them (and there is high demand for them) I find it difficult to believe any other company able to. Not to mention that if the batch I got my racquet from was "near" to the production end, then I see no reason why victor would change the grommets to the red-only ones for any subsequent batches (if there are), particularly if they haven't done this for years. Giggle, how do you know the one I have is not from the last batch? And why are you so sure the red-only grommet ones are real?
Those with black-red grommet, your racket is original. Those with all red grommet, your racket is also original.
Ok.. I just got another DE code BS12 blue today. It's full red grommet, bought from official victor shop. And like I said earlier, my old BS12 blue, the original, before the grey BS12N came out, has red-black grommet.
Hi.. it racketline.co.uk... but they haven't put it online yet. I passed by the shop in Birmingham today.. there were five BS12 blue out of the box.. Only four left now
simple, when victor re-released the blue bs12, they used full red grommets instead of half black and red ones. the reason why they changed to full red grommets is because after the first discontinuation of the blue bs12, it was replaced with the bs12n, which used full red grommets. when victor released the blue bs12, they used the same full red grommets from the bs12n on the blue bs12. As of now, victor doesn't use half black and red grommets in their rackets anymore. As per the re-release, the was a new batch of KRPs made. these KRPs had the full red grommets. KRP blue bs12 is actually quite decently easy to find, if you have the connections. If i recall correctly, SOSA's policy was that all KRPs have to be strung before sending out. This is not true, new and unstrung KRPs (even the blue bs12) could be purchased.
Blue BS12's are available in Europe. Ben at www.badmintonbase.co.uk has them in stock. Racketline in Birmingham have them too and i expect other online retailers to follow. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Seems that the Blue BS12's are really limited. My local seller in Germany will only get two or three.
Planning to buy BS12 from internet and would need some help with specifications. The shop lists models as follows: -3UG5 -4UG5 -3UG5 sw73 87.6g 291mm si140 -4UG5 sw70 83.3g 294mm si135 What are two last ones, are they heavier or lighter than standard model?
