VICTOR CHINA OPEN 2026 (21-07-2026 to 26-07-2026)

Rose/Setianingrum have taken several games from the Chinese pair earlier so no big upset they took the whole match today

Its a dream for every player to win The China Open.

Still Rose/Setianingrum has to be careful against the US pair, who have ruffled a few feather. for me, its 50:50. The Smasher US girl is extremely huge and powerful. They just beat BaekLee last week i believe and i watched it. They will have surely beaten a tired ZhangJia as well.

Yamaguchi wins 21-1 against Katethong. Shocking. I probably have seen many 3s, but 1.....& Katethong is a good player.

Just speaks how good PKW is, giving AY 9 last week.

Some interesting results today:

Alwi lost to Ayush, making their head-to-head 2–2. Looks like the rivalry they built during their junior years is going to continue at the senior level.
After losing all of their previous meetings, Rose/Febi finally beat Jia/Zhang today. I'm not sure whether it was because the Chinese pair was feeling the effects of fatigue, or if the Indonesian pair simply learned a lot from their two previous defeats.

Players are struggling to control the shuttle in one side . Those who control well are winners. Huge drift . Similar to Singapore and some other stadiums.

What a huge upser by Gemke, beating in my books, the Form Player of the Year Vitidsarn.

Li Shifeng is like LeeZiiJia. Both gets injured in WorldTourFinal and have never looked the same.

Point 20 is just anguish. Had the didnt blow that smash, the comeback could really be On

This INA WD, what was that after 19-16. Especially the older ones, inexcusable. There is no winning mentality. Just give the shuttle to Kim/Kong hitting range. Like i cant put the shuttle worst if i want to.

Sorry if this sounds a bit rude, but I honestly have to wonder—is there any point in Indonesia keeping on sending mixed doubles pairs to these tournaments when the result is always the same: they get knocked out in the early rounds?

Men singles.. Hard to name anyone to be favorite for the next world champion. Have there ever before been several candidates from outside of Asia?

Water droplets from roof?.
Mopping after every other rally.
Umpire giving reason as " Due to air conditioning".

What happened to the telecast during first match ?

I guess they changed the main camera or some sort of tech issues...also water dropping in excess pretty much reminded me of 2018 World Championships...Thats very low for a S1000 event.

Well Played PV and Fei...a mouth watering 3 setter...Fei would hope Ratchanok also plays as tiring match or else its gona be game over for her tomorrow 😁

Sindhu lost the match which she should have won. She became too passive at the business end of the 2nd game. Lost 6 consecutive points to lost the 2nd game . Yufei won from 16-20 down to win it 22-20. Neverthless, unless it is An Se Young, no other player has won 2 consecutive title. 1 hour and 30 minutes of exhilarating badminton.

WORLD RECORD ALERT !

As per the latest post of speedboard leaders by BWF Fastest smash recorded by a WS player in Japan Open was Sindhu who smashed a 407.6 KMPH shot which is also the fastest ever smash recorded in a match by WS player.

Earlier record was also held by Pusarla which was 403 Kmph recorded at Denmark Open against Marin...so she broke her own record to create a new one
