Momota got his defence, net, pace and most of his attack but his poor judgement costed him the game. Kudos to both players it's been an awesome final

 

VA is getting a lot back, just like Chen Long

 

First 2 games is great, the last game not so. In the end its Momota that runs out of steam

I was wrong. KM gassed out first, VA winning this one and it's huge. their match-up will not look as one-sided anymore from here on out.

That is probably what a poll here would show, but then you are forgetting how VA has been winning lately: By playing the long game.

VA’s stamina has improved a lot since their last meeting. Momota is not far from his prime. I think only his stamina is still a little off. But still inpressive that VA is outrunning him.

 

Vr seeing a more determined viktor here. Momota has to work on his consistency especially his judgement which has been lacking recently. Otherwise a good improvement in form.
