Yes this may seem to look like it but then their fighting spirit is commendable. Their good fighting spirit is the most important thing and the score is close too 19-21 19-21. I will give credit when the players deserve it. Both are good players. You must be proud of them as Malaysian too. I am not a Malaysian but yet I am so proud of their achievements. :)

Jonatan plays really clever in my view.
Much smash "fakes" with drop shots, good placement at all.
Hope he can do it in G3!

Showman Sasaki wraps up the final match of the day, winning out Jonatan.

    surprise surprise!
SS managed it - did not expected that - well done!
Feeling a bit sad for Jonatan, but he just turned 18 two days ago, so his time will come and he has much time left :)

Agree with this view the most. The incessant Gopi bashing needs to stop. It's just one indifferent year in a long career

I would be happy if he draws KS and KS pulls of a rabbit

Almost... Should have trusted SWH more. He was so close the last time and this time he made it ;)

Tang Jinhua/Tian Qing had bad draws to meet compatriots in back to back tournaments in rather early rounds!

I hope they will have better draws in coming tournaments to watch their full potential!

The Luo twin sisters are what a waste within the Chinese WD squad, their plays are not convincing regardless their wins and WR standing! Do not expect them to play in Rio.

It's pity that Wang Shixian will have to face Li Xuerui even before the SF... and ALL the CHN WS --four of them-- were drawn into the SAME HALF, what a sh*tty draw!!

Unless you have seen the game you cannot know that...

SWH already gave LD a tough fight last week in Japan (no home turf!), there's no reason why he should not be able to beat him. He is a very skilled player. :)

Correct... I remember how he played CL in Incheon AG...
But we have to agree there were some other factors also if not the linesman..
The drift, fatigue maybe for LD and ofcourse the ignited flame to def the maestro in SWH's eyes... But indeed the scoreline is rather schoking
